••Brandon's POV••
"Hey, I suggest you stop staring before someone else calls you out." Preston mumbled from beside me. "Huh?" I asked, confused and shaken from my daze. "He's looked back at you three times but you're too busy with your fantasies about him to notice." Preston replied with a smirk as he looked back to the teacher lecturing at the front board. I blushed slightly and turned away, staring out the window and jumping nearly out of my seat as the bell rang.
Preston was already standing next to me when I looked over, tapping his foot waiting for me. "Hurry up, Brandon, we've gotta get to Mitch's and I wanna see Lachlan first." He said, and I sighed. "Just go. I'll meet you at Mitch's." I said, waving him off. "Don't miss it, Mitch wants us to meet someone!" Preston said with a big smile as he turned around. "Tell Lach I said hello!" I yelled after him, then sighed once he was out of sight, o sighed. Even though Preston and Lachlan weren't here, it was directed at them. I wished I was as in love with someone as the two of them were with each other. A guy can dream.
"Hey," a voice said. I looked up, seeing the one person I was ready for. "Hi, Mat."
"Hi." He replied, awkwardly smiling at me. "What's up?" I asked, hoping he wasn't about to make fun of me for my staring. I mean, in a way, my staring was a compliment. "You're friends with Mitch Hughes, right?" He asked. I noticed the small piece of paper folded between his fingers, and inwardly sighed. Great. He's hitting on Mitch. Of course he wouldn't notice me. "Uh, yeah. Why?" Mat handed me the piece of paper with a shy smile. "If you're going to see him in the next few minutes, could you give this to him?" He asked. "Um, yeah, sure. No problem." I answered, twirling the note between my fingers. "Thanks very much." He said, keeping the adorable smile. I smiled back, and he turned to go. "Oh, and Brandon," he said, facing me again. "I'm not much to stare at, but you definitely are." And with that, he turned and left he room, leaving me alone.
I got all my stuff together mad left the room, going towards my locker. Lucky enough, Mitch's was right near mine, so when I got there, I flung the paper at his head. "From Mat." I said, and opened my locker to throw my books in. Mitch opened the note and read it, then grinned. I sighed and tried not to let Mitch see my roll my eyes. Then he pulled out his phone and started texting, and once he finished he looked over at me. "My house around four?" He asked, and I nodded. "Pres said you wanted us to meet someone?" I questioned. "Indeed. Be there, four o'clock." He said again, before shutting his locker and walking away, probably to find his boyfriend Rob.

I got home around three, considering we didn't get out until two-thirty and I was caught at the door by Jerome and Vikk. I walked into my house and collapsed onto the couch, pretty damn tired after the long week. Thank God for Friday's.
I hadn't moved from the sofa when my doorbell rang. I sighed and stood to answer it. I was comfy on that couch.
"Hello?" I say, opening the door. I'm shocked at who's standing there.
"Hi Mat?" I ask, confused at how he actually found my house. "Oh... Hello Brandon!" Mat chirped happily. "Hi... No offense or anything, but how did you find the house?" I gesture him inside and he looks around, then back to me. "Mitch gave me the address." He replied casually. "To my house?" Mat looked at me like I was crazy. "No, to his... That bastard set me up, didn't he." Mat said, grinning to himself. "Uh, maybe, because this is my house. Not Mitch's. I'm going over there soon though, if you'd like to join me." I answered with a smile. "Sure, thanks."
"Oh, and... I'm sorry to just... You know, appear at your door. I barely know you, and then here I am." He said nervously. "We could get to know each other?" I suggested awkwardly. He shrugged. "Okay, like a twenty one questions sorta thing?" He asked, and I slightly smirked. "Not in that way, you idiot. I'm not a fuckboy like that." (A/N: I love myself sometimes) Mat laughed, and I did too. "But yeah, that's kinda what I meant." I said. "Well then, let's do it. You first."
We had a whole range of topics, from favorite subject in school to most embarrassing childhood memory. It was fun, definitely. Right before we had to leave to Mitch's, Mat asked one final question. "Who was your first kiss?" I blushed slightly and looked away. "Um..." "You can NOT tell me you haven't kissed someone before." Mat said, leaning back against the chair he sat in. "Okay, I won't tell you." I said shyly. "Not even when you were with Kenny?" He asked, referring to my ex-boyfriend. I'd told him about Kenny when he asked about my sexuality, and told him I was gay. "Nope." I replied, and Mat looked genuinely surprised. "Wow. Someone as amazing as you, a junior without his first kiss?" Mat remarked, and I blushed deeper. "Yeah, well, clearly I'm not that amazing then." I say while standing up and walking towards the front door. I heard Mat follow. I opened the door for him and he steps onto the porch. After o shut the door I turned, only to become face to face with Mat.
I stumbled back against the door, and Mat took the step forward to stay chest to chest with me. "M-Mat?" I stuttered, and he smiled. "Brandon," he replied. "W-What are you doing?" I said, feeling my breath hitch in my throat as one of his hands moves to my hip. "First kiss." He answered, before gently pressing his lips to mine.
Well... First kisses are amazing. Especially when they're with someone you really like. I felt sparks shoot though me and my whole body was tingling. Mat ran one hand through my hair and kept his other on my hip as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
Eventually he pulled back, but leaned his forehead on mine. "Whatdaya think? How was that for a first kiss?" He asked, and all I could do was smile shyly. "Now... I wanted to get to know you before I asked you this, but it seems we did that just fine in the past half hour. I've liked you from afar for a while... Will you, maybe, go out with me sometime?" He asked, smiling right back at me. "I'd love to."
He moved away from me like nothing happened, and I followed him down my driveway. As he was about to get in his car, I shook my head. "He lives down the street. We can walk." I said, and he shrugged and nodded. He walked up to me and interlocked our hands. "Lead the way." He said, so I did.
It was a ten minute walk to Mitch's, and right before we came into view of his house I let go of Mat's hand. When he frowned, I sighed. "Look, they think we just met... Which we kinda did. They can't know yet." I said quietly, then walked up to Mitch's doorstep. Mat followed, and quickly kissed my cheek as I knocked. I was blushing when Mitch opened the door.
"Well hello," Mitch said with a smirk. "Glad the two of you finally made it." He gestured us inside, where Vikk, Jerome, Rob, Preston and Lachlan were all chilling in the living room. "You told me four!" I said, and Mitch just kept on grinning. "Sorry. Anyway, guys, this is Mat, and I met him in my French class. He's Canadian like Rob and me!" Mitch said, and the others all shouted different greetings. "Mat, this is Vikk and Jerome, they're OTP," Mitch pointed to the duo. "That's Lachlan and Preston, who are almost to gay for each other to function." Again, he smirked at the pair, Preston laughing at the reference. "And that handsome man over there is my boyfriend Rob." Mitch finished, and Rob blushed. "You're too kind, Mitchell." He said.
Then Mitch looked back at Mat and I. "Now I would introduce you to Brandon, but it seems you two already know each other." He said, keeping that stupid grin on his face. I would so pay him back for this later. Mat just chuckled. "Well yes, seeing as you gave me the wrong time and address, I showed up at Brandon's door. But we got to know each other quite well." He said, smiling at Mitch, then turning and winking at me. You know... Maybe I need to thank Mitch instead...

I owed AwkwardPanda250 some NoochZaHutt for something... I don't remember. But yeah. This one might be slightly awkward because for some reason it felt like I was writing in Preston's POV the entire time... Idrk why. Hope you enjoyed! ~Rosie <3333
