|Lachlan's POV|

Why I thought it was a good idea to roam the streets of Saint. Petersburg in the middle of the night, I'll never know. Why I actually listened to Jerome and went to go get him coffee in the middle of the night, I'll never know. Why the hell I didn't fight back when a blindfold was slipped over my eyes, I actually do know. I was scared out of my mind.

Who's that shadow holding me hostage?

I didn't know I was knocked out until I woke up. Chains on my wrist, chains on my ankles, and a shadow in front of me, watching. I struggled against the restraints for a moment, hoping that my captor wasn't that bright. "You know you're not getting out of that." The mysterious shadow spoke. I sighed and stopped trying, letting my head fall. "How long have I been here?" I asked quietly. "I knocked you out for a good two days. You've been here for three though." The shadow replied.

I've been here for days.

"Why... What do you want with me?" I asked. "Revenge." I could hear the smirk in his voice. "For what? Who?" I asked, not having any idea who this guy was or what the hell I did to him. I was just visiting! I lived in Australia. He's must have me confused for someone else. "Just... A list of people. Not you, but people close to ya." The voice answered. "What did they ever do to you?" I asked. "You're full of questions, aren't you, Aussie?" The shadow asked, stepping forward. "I just wanna leave, man. No hard feelings, no nothing. People will settle whatever this is with you, mate, just let me go." I pleaded. I was still scared out of my mind. "I don't think so. Sorry Aussie, you aren't getting outta here."

Who's this whisper telling me that I'm never gonna get away?

Another day past and I have to say that I didn't mind this. Sure, it was a little terrifying, and for some reason authorities hadn't found me yet.
But other than that, I really had no reason to be scared. This guy wasn't gonna hurt me, and he was extremely attractive. Spiked brown hair, hazel eyes, and a cute smile is what I got from a couple glances. I want to get out of here, back to Jerome and back to Australia. Right?

I know they'll be coming to find me soon

"Aussie, you okay down there?" The voice called, I still didn't know his name. "As okay as I'll ever be." I called, and I heard him laugh. "Here we go." I heard him jump down the stairs to the left of me and then take a couple steps my direction. Suddenly, the chains fell from my limbs, and I could move around. "Try to escape and you're gone, Aussie." The man warned, and I nodded. Curiosity got the best of me, I took a couple steps toward the mystery guy, hoping I could actually get a good look at him for once. When I got close enough, he put his hand on my chest to stop me from coming any closer. "What are you doing?" He asked. "I... I just wanted to see what you looked like." I answered quietly, looking down. He moved his arm off my chest and reached down, grabbing my hand and pulling me into the light. I felt tiny sparks fly up my arm at his touch.

But I feel I'm getting used to being held by you.

He stepped into the light while I stayed in the shadows. He was shorter than me, but not by much. He was built well, strong arms, and from what I could see through his thin white tee, nice abs. Damn.

Oh, baby look what you've done to me.

"Whoa." I breathed, hoping he didn't hear me. "Like what you see here, Aussie?" He said with a smirk. If I say yes, would niceness get me out of here? Well... It would be flattery and honesty. "Maybe." I replied casually, grinning a bit myself. He stepped forward and put his hands on my chest, the smirk staying put. "I'm liking what I see as well."

Oh, Baby you've got me tied down.

"What?" I was definitely surprised by this. "You're pretty cute yourself, Aussie." He repeated. Oh. "Thanks..." I trailed off, finally realizing I didn't know His name. "Mitch." He said. "My names Mitch."

Baby I'll never leave if you keep holding me this way

A couple more days and I didn't even know who I was anymore. I was so freaking confused. I wanted to go home, I wanted to see Jerome and Vikk and all my other friends. But... Something about Mitch made me never want to leave. The way he took my hand when he led me into another room. The way his eyes mischievously sparkled when he had me chained again.

Who's this man that's holding your hand and talking about your eyes? Used to sing about being free but now he's changed his mind.

I know, it's terrible to say this about someone who's holding me here against my will... But maybe it's my choice now.

I know they'll be coming to find me soon, but my Stockholm syndrome is in your room, yeah I fell for you.

"Hey, Lachlan?" The first time he ever called me by my real name, and God did it sound beautiful coming from him. "What's up, Mitch?" I replied as he walked in. "I... You. You... You need to go. I-I'm sorry." He said, pulling me up and leading me towards the stairs. "What?" I asked. "Go. Get out. Turn me in, whatever. Just leave. I can't keep you here, it hurts." He said, continuing to push me away. "Mitch, I-" "I can't keep you here like this, Lachlan!" He shouted over me. "Then you won't. I'll stay on my own." I said simply. "What?" He looked at me like I was insane. "Mitch... I... Well, I really like you. Like... Like a lot. I don't even want to leave."

All my life I've been on my own, I use a light to guide me home. But now together we're alone, and there's no other place I'd ever wanna go.

Baby look what you've done....

"Really? Because... That's why I couldn't keep you here. You were suffering... I didn't like seeing you in pain." He admitted. "Clearly you weren't in pain, though." He added. "Nope." I agreed. "What are we gonna do?" He asked as I took both his hands in mine. "I'll go home. Tell them I did get taken... But by someone else. You saved me." I thought aloud. "Will it work?" He asked. "If your asking if my friends are dumb enough to believe it... Most of them. We'll figure it out." I assured him. "Okay. We'll make it work." He said, grinning as he kissed my cheek. "Anything for you, love."

---Third Person POV---

Lachlan brought Mitch to Jerome's small apartment, where his friends were all waiting for him. After the boys were done attacking Lachlan in hugs and "oh my god you're okay"s, they noticed Mitch standing awkwardly in the doorway. "Lach, who's that?" Jerome asked, motioning to Mitch. "I'm-" "That's my new boyfriend. Mitch." Lachlan said, making Mitch smile.

Mitch was easily welcomed into their little group, and when they guys all asked what happened, the little white lies flowed easily. Luckily, no one questioned it, they were just happy to have their friend back.

One day, when they duo had grown up some more and they had children of their own, their youngest son Benjamin asked how they met. "Well, Benja, your dad had a small case of Stockholm Syndrome." Mitch grinned. "What's that?" Benjamin asked. "You'll find out when you're older." Lachlan replied. Young Benj didn't think twice, shrugging and running off with an "okay!" Mitch smiled. "Remember all those years ago, Aussie?" Mitch asked. "Could never forget." Lachlan replied.

Baby look what you've done to me...
