Hogwarts

When Harry heard the conversation between Ginny and Hermione, he did what he could:
he avoided Ginny like the plague. Should be easy because being back at Hogwarts he can finally keep himself busy. Also being Quidditch Captain this year, sixth year and of course the fact that a big mission lies ahead for Harry he himself is in denial.

As for Ginny, she didn't know either to be upset with Harry avoiding her or angry. She tried to talk to him countless times about Quidditch or anything for that matter but he made every excuse possible to leave. She often asked Hermione about it but Hermione herself didn't understand which irritated both Hermione and Ginny.

Weeks went by, Harry kept avoiding the "Ginny topic" and Hermione's questions too.   Harry was glad he was busy with Quidditch tryouts falling the day after tomorrow and homework on top of that, and then there's the fact that Voldemort is out there planning every move. And finally Dumbledore asked Harry to get to know the new teacher, Professor Slughorn.  He holds valuable information which Harry has to retrieve. Oh let me add that it is also the fact , Harry Potter is in the Slug Club, along with many other students. Harry only got in because Slughorn favours him and the rest Harry doesn't know how the others got in.

***Ginny's POV***

Harry's has been avoiding me for some odd reason. I tried to talk to him about Quidditch but he made up an excuse to leave. Before I could even register what happen, he was gone in a flash. I asked Hermione about it and she too asked Harry but he shrugged at her. Not only is Harry avoiding me but the weirdest thing happen to me, I was on the train with Dean. We were talking and flirting but of course Zarcharis Smith was irritating me about asking me questions after questions about what happened in the Department of Mysteries.

I got so annoyed that i hexed him right there and then, and yeah a man came up, he looked like a teacher. Thinking I got caught I hung my head ashamed. But oddly the teacher said I had great protential that he invited me to lunch with him and his students. Hermione later explained that he favours students, which it made me smile. Though I only hexed someone, not even meaning to get into the club but like he was asking for it.

Anyway, Dean was in a huff was he jealous of me? We had a little disagreement and it came to a holt when I brushed past him angrily.

So here I am walking with my with best friends, Taylor and Lisa. I've been friends with them since that awful first year. I was possessed by Tom Riddle or now known as Voldemort. I'm one of many who is not afaid to say his name. I actually call him Tom now. Luckily Harry saved me in the Chamber of Secrets. "So Gin? How's you and Dean?" Asks Taylor.

"We're fine" I shrugged. Lisa quirked a brow at me but i avoided her gaze. "What's wrong with ikle Gin?" Says Taylor teasing me.

Scowling at her I spoke "How's Mattie?" I shot back. Her face turned from amused to innocent.

"I dont know what your talking about?" Says Taylor turning pink.

"Yeah whatever" I say.

Lisa giggled making me turn to face her, "Hey what about you miss!" I thumped Lisa in the back of the head.

"Owww Gin what the hell?" Lisa shrieked. Grinning I stuck my tongue out. "Okay if I tell you guys, you can't make fun of me" Lisa started to say but shrugged suggestively. I could see a faint pink on her cheek and I internally grinned. We were now wandering around as we had free period. I made a move with my hand and she carried on. "I think he's cute but i don't like him" Says Lisa.

I quirk my brows. I rolled my eyes at her childish behavior.

"Draco Malfoy"

My face fell. It soon changed to pure disgust to horror. I looked at Taylor and saw her jaw hung open and her skin was white like a ghost. "Malfoy?" Says Taylor in a disbelieved voice. "No" and then she broke down in a fit of giggles. Taylor and I looked at each other and nodded. We lunged at Lisa and straddled her."Guys g-g-e-e-t o-o-f-f of me" Lisa says in between laughs. Taylor and I get off of her and smack her arm. Hard. "Hey what the heck was that for?" She cries out. Rolling my eyes at her while I speak "baby" her face turns red and thats when i knew i stepped over the line. Next minute I'm upside down and Taylor is laughing and rolling around. I scream from the top of my lungs, "LISA REYNOLDS LET ME DOWN NOW OR ELSE I WILL SO HEX YOU" I scream. She obligues and thump! I hit the ground hard. "Owww that hurt" i complained rubbing my backside. "I put you down, you never said gently", Lisa spoke smirking. I glared at her. For the rest of the half hour we talked and heard the bell going off for dinner. We all headed down to dinner laughing.

"Ginny?" I whip my head around, coming face to face with green eyes and messy black hair. He gulps "Harry" I crossed my arms. "Listen i appologize for not talking as I've been really busy" he looks down ashamed. My heart immediatly melt inside. I have a sudden urge to run into his arms and.... stop Ginny!!! I bite my lower lip. "It's okay Harry" I squeeze his shoulders. He lifts his head smiling directly at me which made me gulp at how his eyes darken a little. Them green eyes.

"Tryouts are Saturday, you coming?" He asked

"Does Ron eat like a pig?" I laugh.

"Yes" was all Harry said before we burst out laughing. After controling our laugh we talk about Quidditch. No surprise there.

"I'm heading to bed, night Gin" Harry said lifting off the couch we occupied in the common room after a delicious meal.

"Night Harry" I said waving him off. As he left I saw something twinkle in his eyes.

Love? I shook it off.

"Well well well?" Said a voice from behind me.

"Tay?" I asked.

"Hey Gin? Getting cosy with Potter eh?" She laughed.

"I could ask you the same" I pointed to the spot she occupied about ten seconds ago, Mattie was sitting across from her. We saw Mattie talk to Seamus. I smirked over at Taylor who flashed her middle finger at me. I bursted our laughing.

"whatever" Taylor said.

"Where's Lisa?" I asked.

"Here red don't worry i'm always here" says a voice from behind.

Rolling my eyes I hugged Lisa and dragged both girls to the dorms to fall asleep. Classes and more classes, not to mention O.W.Ls
