Daryl: we'll take the loft, I ain't sleepin in no cage.

Daryl announced, claiming his area in the prison. I walked up the stairs carrying Thea and I's bags along with my crossbow. We cleared out one cell block for the time being and Everyone claimed their cells. I watched Daryl set up our loft. This was actually pretty neat. I mean we were staying inside of a prison! But I'm pretty sure I'm the only one this excited about it.

Rick: the prison yard still needs cleared, we don't want the walkers to pile up against the fence.

I nodded my head from the loft, and I heard Daryl snicker behind me, causing me to turn around.

Danielle: and what are you laughin at Dixon?

Daryl looked at me and rolled his eyes. He patted the top of my head.

Daryl: you ain't going to the prison yard..

Daryl paused and then mocked me by repeating "Dixon" in my voice.

I playfully glared at Daryl, he acted like I never killed a walker before. He looked at me with his now long greasy hair fell over his eyes, but his blue orbs still shining through. I guess I could stay behind and help get the group settled.

Danielle: ok, fine. But please be careful, you won't have me as back up.

I playfully winked at it him and he smirked at my comment. I bit my lip resisting the urge to kiss him right now. I heard my name being called from the other side of the cell block and watched as Thea's tiny legs carried her up the stairs, to the loft.

Thea: mama, Carl mommy needs help finding "infremilatily"

I giggled at her struggle to say infirmary. Every prison has one and that would be very beneficial to us! I picked her up and kissed her cheek.

Danielle: infirmary

Thea nodded and repeated after me. She was so smart for a 5 year old. I watched Daryl sling his cross bow across his back as he prepared to clear the prison yard. He approached me and leaned in for a quick kiss, and then kissed the top of Thea's head.

Daryl: love you

We walked down the loft stairs together. And i looked at Daryl for a moment. I couldn't help but smile, somehow Thea squirmed out from my arms and ran toward Carl who was looking through his backpack. I looked back toward Daryl and pressed my lips to his one last time before he went out to the yard. My arms automatically wrapped around his neck. The relief of actually being safe, was a great feeling.

Lori: Danielle? Can you understand this map?

I pulled away from Daryl to watch Lori waddle her pregnant self over to me, carrying a piece of paper. I nodded at Daryl, telling him he could go to the yard now. I truly am way over excited about this prison, but I mean it's not everyday you take over a freaken prison! I pulled my emotions together and turned toward Lori, taking the map from her.

Danielle: maybe if we, wait no... I think... What the hell?

The map was THE most confusing thing I have ever seen in my life. I didn't know which way it went, I saw the word "infirmary" but I did NOT know how to get there by any means.

Danielle: well it's a good thing we have time huh?

Daryl closed the cell block door behind him, with a slight slam, startling me. Maggie approached Lori and I with a slight smile on her face.

Maggie: I think I found the infirmary

I turned toward Thea to see her already coming my way, along with Carl.
