Tyler's p.o.v.
In an instant, I broke inside. Seeing my sister get shot is probably the worst thing I've experienced in my life. It didn't help that she was shot by our own mother. I shake myself out of the two second daze I went into as my sister bled, causing our white carpet to stain, and see Josh suddenly tackle my mom. He took her down to the ground and managed to take the gun out of her hand.
Josh looks at me and yells, "CALL 911 TYLER GO!" I kneel down to my sister who is slowly dying and begin to apply pressure to her wound. With my other free hand I dial 911 and explain that I needed an ambulance now.
My mom was putting up a fight with Josh for a while but finally gave up after a minute of struggling to get out of Josh's tight grip. I couldn't even look at her. The silence breaks when I hear the sirens of both the ambulance and the police cars. Paramedics bust through the front door pushing me out of the way and pulling Madison onto a gurney.
I look down and see myself covered in her blood. I get bombarded by a policeman as I try to join my sister on the ambulance. One policeman had already put cuffs on my mom and Josh. I stop the man taking away Josh and say, "No wait! He didn't do anything!!" The man didn't listen to a thing a said and shoved both my mother and Josh into the squad car.
I see him mouth to me "I'll be ok! Go to your sister!!" so I run to my car and follow the ambulance holding my sister's life together by a thread. It takes me a good seven minutes to get parked and into the correct wing of the hospital. I look around in search of my sister when I see a hospital bed rush past me with a large group of doctors and nurses pushing it. The glimpse I get is of my sister's pained face, so I immediately follow it.
Before I even got near to one of the doctors, I get stopped by a security guard telling me to sit in the waiting room. I attempt to explain my situation, but he doesn't care and motions toward the ugly green chairs.
I anxiously sit down while tapping my fingers on a nearby table. This relives my stress and kinda calms me down. Every minute that passes by without any word from the doctor, makes my worry grow intensely.
My eyelids somehow manage to stay closed until a feel a tap on my shoulder. Both my eyes flutter open to see Josh standing in front of me. I explode out of the uncomfortable hospital chair and hug him closely.
I pull away and frantically ask "How did you get out?! Wait what time is it?" He pulls out his phone and says "Almost midnight.." I run my fingers through my hair and exhale deeply. We both sit back down and hear doors burst open. A pair of doctors approach Josh and I and ask "Which one of you is Tyler Joseph?"
I look at the man and say "Me. I am." The doctor deeply sighs and begins, "Mr. Joseph, it pains me to inform you that your sister Madison survived the surgery, but she fell into a coma after we finished the operation. We aren't sure when she will wake up, but we are hoping soon."
I am left speechless and give the man a sad nod. After they both leave I fall into Josh's arms. Yup here come the water works. I just completely lose it. Josh starts to rub my back and pretty much worsens my situation.
I dry my tears and pull away from Josh. I sit back down and begin to think. 'If my sister doesn't wake up...I'll have no one else that I can really trust besides Josh. He's great but, he's not Madison. We have a different connection. She is someone is can tell everything. I can't lose her.'
