Part 27

Amelia's POV:||
He walked into my room and slammed the door shut, wrapping his arms around me tightly.

"Woah, hello" I smiled, rubbing his back gently, he said nothing, concerning me. "John what's the matter?" I tried to look at his face but he only held me tighter, burying his face into my shoulder. He shook his head and sighed slowly. "You can tell me y'know... I mean I know we're starting again or whatever but you can still trust me"

He sat down on my bed, rubbing his flushed face. I sat behind him, carefully rubbing his shoulders "Come on" I said, pulling his head down into my lap.

"Why does she hate her" he muttered, through gritted teeth.

"Who?"

"Mimi, it's like she can't stand her own fucking sister" he groaned as I gently played with his hair "sh-she doesn't like me being with her, b-being with my own bloody mother"

"Well, it's probably just an instinctive thing John, like she feels like she's got you y'know" I reassured, cuddling my arm around his chest

"I'm a grown man!"

"You're 17 John" I smiled, kissing his head

"Yeah well, six months and I will be, you just wait" he sighed

"I will." I smiled, cuddling him closer to me. It was a little uncomfortable to be honest, I'd never really seen John upset so it was a little confronting, to say the least, to have to comfort him. He was thinking, I could tell he was, just staring at a blank space on the wall.

"What are you thinking?" I asked, no reply. "John?" I leant around to look at his face, I could see tears forming in his eyes, red puffy rings surrounding his warm brown irises. "You can cry John, it's okay to cry" I whispered, almost holding my breath to see what would happen.
He let out a soft sob and leant further into my touch, his chest racking with sobs.

"Doesn't a-anyone love me enough?" He croaked. I swallowed and sighed, shaking my head as I stroked his dirty brown hair back onto his head.

"I-I love you John, I do, hopefully for now that's enough for you because that's all I can give"
