-Tae's POV-

I woke up in bed next to Seokjin (or rather, Jin), closer to him than I had expected. And he was facing me. I smile to myself as I observe his sleeping face.

His soft brown hair spread across his forehead. I slowly get up and look at the clock on the wall across the room.

4:57am

As usual I naturally wake up early. Unnecessaryily early... But that just means I have more time to make breakfast.

Although it was usually just for me, it was nice to spend some time in the kitchen, making something realistically nice. Im not much of a cook, but eventually it would be nice to really learn how to properly cook. Its fun to pretend I'm a good cook...

It's just that this time, it isn't just for me. Jin is here too.

What even is his situation? Why doesn't he just open up to me? I stop myself to take that back, mentally sleeping myself in the face.

Of course he won't talk to me, I am some stranger who slept in the same bed as him last night. I must look like a creep.

I quickly flinch as I feel a sting on my finger, looking down to be greeted by a stream of scarlet running down my finger. I quickly turn on the sink and hold my hand underneath the water, to ease the pain.

"Woah, are you OK?!" I hear Jin from behind me. I didn't know he was awake. Maybe I woke him up?

I look back at him, still holding my hand under the tap. He ran to me with messy hair and a worried look on his face.

"You have to be more careful" he said, as if to scold me. I slightly smile but push him away a little. "I'm fine, its just a tiny cut. I'm not going to die. And you-" I take my good hand and poke him playfully. "- need to take a shower and get ready for today."

I watch his face change from worried to confused. "Today?" He asks. I smile widely and nod.

"Yes, today I'm going to show you around the town a little. I mean you don't seem to be leaving anytime soon or have anywhere else to go; so I figured you will need to know a little about where you are."

He looks at me with a blank expression, then slightly nods his head, murmuring a soft 'ok'. I turn back to my hand and sigh, cleaning off the blood with a paper towel, my blood slowly making uneven shapes in it. I turn back to Seokjin, who was still standing there.

"Hey Jin, can you please get a bandaid from the bathroom? It's in the cabinet with the first aid supplies." I asked, adding in a little aegyo.

He makes a face and mutters a 'don't call me that' but then gives a slight smile and nods, heading into the bathroom. I look the unfinished meal I have set out in front of me. I look up to see Jin approaching me with a bandaid.

I thank him and take the bandaid, laying it over my cut. "Now you should go take a shower while I finish up the food." I say, with a large smile. Today is going to be fun.

I set the two bowls of food down on the table just as Jin walks out of the shower, wearing my clothes. I stop and look at him. Wow, he pulls that outfit off better than I do...

He looks away and scratches at the back of his neck nervously before talking. "I hope you don't mind I borrowed your clothes again. I don't have anything other than what I had on me when you found me and those haven't been washed yet..."

I walk up to him. "Believe me, its no problem. Plus those look better on you then they ever did on me. We can get you some more clothes when we go out today." I go to take a step back but then stop myself, knowing what Jin would say.

"No, before you even say it, no. Don't worry about it, I can take care of the money situation. You can make up for it later if you are that concerned. Ok?" I turn back to the food, sitting down and watching Jin as he walks over, taking the seat across from mine.

All the while, his head down , slightly smiling as shades of pink has crept up on his cheeks. I sigh mentally. I wonder when he will be a little more open. Maybe I can find out more about him when we go out today? Like what his favorite foods are. I continue to think as we eat in silence, remembering possible subtle hints towards his personality.

I remembered the way he looks at the kitchen. He must really like to cook. I wonder what else he likes to do? I look up to see Jin getting up, taking his bowl up to the sink to wash it off.

Silence. Silence filled the room. Maybe he doesn't want to be here... "Do you want to be here?" I ask softly, looking down at my unfinished meal.

He stops what he is doing and blankly looks straight ahead, at the wall. After a few seconds he looks back down at his hands, speaking softly. "Anywhere is better than were I was."

I look at Jin, wondering what he was troubled with. "Are you ever going to tell me what happened?" He sighs and looks to his side, avoiding eye contact with me.

"I don't know but I don't want to talk about it." He looked back to me, and I could see it in his eyes. I probably shouldn't push it...

I stood up and went to the sink, standing next to him and wash my dish. He stands there, completely still. I turn to him and smile.

"You can tell me when you are ready. In the meantime, lets go explore the town!" I say happily, grabbing his hand and pulling him to the door. I look back at him, a huge smile on my face, to see how startled Jin was by my action. He looks up at me and gives me a small reassuring smile.

Today will be fun.
