'At least just for today, I want it to be forever. I just want to be young forever.' - BTS

-Jin's POV-

The alarm rings through the room and I groan as I get up, looking at the time. 5:00am. I turn it off and turn around, shaking Tae awake.

We both decided we would work as hard as we could, doing overtime and working almost everyday or the week, to get enough money to pay for both of us to go to America, instead of just Tae. So for the last week's, both of us have worked really hard, especially because it's summer and we don't have school.

It's worth it though, because we get to stay together... "Come on, Tae. We have to go work, let's go." "Nooooo..." He growls and rolls over, hugging me. "All I want to do is lay here with you." I smile as I look down at him, stroking is soft hair.

"I know... I want to stay here too, but if we want to get enough money for both of us, than we have to do this." He sighs and shakes his head, spreading his hair into a messy fashion before getting up with a growl.

"I think it would be fun to do that while we are there!" I say in response to Tae's idea. We were talking about what we could do on our trip to America. His grandfather lives in California, and he talked about how, after everything is done, that we can take a road trip around the States.

I smile and hold onto Tae arm and lean my head in his shoulder, intertwining our fingers as we walk. "Maybe we can visit Yellowstone." He nods. I watch the large tree in the garden as we walk past it, slowing to a stop as we hear the song of Tae's phone go off.

I look at his hand as he pulls it out of his pocket, answers it, and brings it to his ear with a blank expression on his face. I stay quiet as he listens, then responds. "No, not now. We don't even have enough yet! I-" He us cut off, closing his mouth with a grunt.

He sighs and looks away. "Yes, I understand." He turns back to me as he shoves the phone back into his pocket. "My grandfather's condition is worsening. My aunt is demanding I be there, on the next flight to California, June 15. Tomorrow."

I hand Tae his pink sweater with a sweet smile, and he takes it, putting it into the suitcase. He's held the same blank face for a while now, since we got the call from his aunt that he has to leave.

We don't have enough money to have me go with him, and we are barely getting by as is so I have to stay. Both of us don't want this, this is just about the worst thing that could happen, but we have to. Tae seems really mad though.

It will only be till his grandfather passed, and then he will come back. But still, this is a big step. It is almost as if to step out of our youth. We cant mess around anymore, things are serious.

I sigh and walk to the kitchen to clean some dirty dishes that were left in the sink from earlier this morning. I quickly finish and turn, to look into the bedroom, where Tae stands quietly, watching the suitcase in front of him.

I walk over to him and wrap my arms around his neck from behind him, kissing the back of his neck lightly. "Come, we should go to Namjoons place now, they will be waiting for us." I say softly, careful not to trigger anything.

We called the boys to tell them it was happening, because they knew, but like us, they didn't think this was happening so soon. They decided, that since this is the last day together for a while, that we should all have the best time ever.

There's this place that they boys took me several times, on the outskirts of the town. They told me they would escape to there sometimes, and hang out. They said they had some of the best memories there, of youth.

It was a abandoned area, with miss match stuff everywhere, no real purpose to it. And as time goes on, we seem to go there less and less. As we get older, there is less and less youth. We have to grow up. Though, even through its many imperfections, the graffiti-covered cement meant something to us. We all agreed that the 'escape' would be a place to go.

And we all agreed we should spend the day and night together, and have the best time of our lives, enough to last us forever. Enough to last us until next time.

And that's what we did.

I walk through the garden, now full of Autumn colors, brushing my hand along the petals of flowers. I look up to the large, beautiful tree, as some of its leaves drift down to the grey, stones of the pathway. I marvel at the colorful leaf I capture in my hand, an outcome of the tall-standing tree.

I wonder when he is coming back...
