Just to let you know, this might be the last update for a little while, and I'm really sorry about that, but I have a ridiculous amount of things going on right now with lots of school work, projects, horseback riding, and not to mention finals are coming up next week, so there's a lot. Scarlett

"Scarlett, you look positively gorgeous!" Theresa gushed.

I smiled and admired the new dress my maids made for me. It was white with colorful floral patterns that matched my pink shoes and gold jewelry. It had a sweetheart neckline and fell to my knees, with a few inches of crinoline peaking out from the bottom, which gave my dress an A-line shape that accentuated my curvy figure.

My hair was done up into a vintage-looking updo that gave my hair a lot of extra volume. It took two hours to do, so I was definitely glad it looked as good as it did.

I smiled at my maids and did a little twirl, giggling.

"Thanks guys, this looks really good." I said, giving them a little hug.

"You're welcome miss-er, Scarlett." Natasha corrected herself. "Now you better hurry or you'll be late! Go on!"

I chuckled as they pushed me out of the room, giving me little waves as they closed the door. Cassandra was waiting for me as always, looking fantastic in her gold and plum colored dress. We walked down the hallways in the palace together, admiring the grandeur of it all.

We were headed to the gardens, where the party was being held, and where we would be able to speak to all of the members of the royal family. There would also be music and light food, like finger sandwiches and tea(obviously).

I blushed remembering the last time I was in the gardens. I was with Sam on our date, and he had almost kissed me. If I had let him, he would have. I missed being kissed. I was heartbroken, but that doesn't mean I didn't miss his kisses. Maybe if I let Sam kiss me I could finally remove him from my thought, and I could just focus on Sam.

I should have let him kiss me...

"Scarlett?" Cass asked, laying a tentative hand on my arm, stopping me in my tracks. "Are you alright?"

"Of course, why wouldn't I be?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Because you almost ran into that wall..." she said, motioning to the wall that was just a few feet away from my face.

"Oh," I reddened. "Um, let's just forget that happened, okay?" I suggested, and she chuckled.

"Sure."

She cracked a smile and turned me the right way, leading me to the gardens arm in arm. The guards standing by the entrance of the gardens promptly opened the glass doors upon seeing us, there faces unmoving like stone. They clearly took their job very seriously.

When Cassandra and I made it over to where the tent was set up, there were only about sic girls who still weren't there. The royal family hadn't arrived yet, which of course meant that Silvia was going over how to behave properly and reminding us of correct tea party etiquette, which she'd taught us quickly after breakfast during our regular morning lesson, even though we were technically supposed to have our history test today.
