A pic of Mavis King :D

The next day, no sign of Joseph. The following day, no sign of him either. Day seven, still no sign of him. Hah I sound so dramatic but it's true.

Both Nate and Marco still go to school everyday except for Joseph. It's like he has disappeared into thin air. And this happened right after we shared our moment. Or maybe it's just me.

It makes me wonder, does he really want me as a mate or is he just using me? I know that werewolves are very dependent on their mates. It's what makes them feel complete.

Here I am, feeling hopeless sitting here just waiting for Joseph to come around. I'm like Bella Swan, moping around waiting for Edward to come back to Forks. At least Edward did came back, unlike that confusing mate of mine.

"You sure that you don't want to call mom and dad to tell them about Joseph?" Vincent asked me.

Mom and dad are spending their nineteenth anniversary in Hawaii. Like the past years.

Why Hawaii? Because that's where they met. They didn't elaborate further so I assumed they were there on a vacation.

I shook my head. "I have no idea how they'll react and I sure don't want to find out now."

"I know. But I'll be there with you if you wanna tell them about him." He patted my shoulder.

"Thanks Vince." I hugged him before I started to walk home.

Vincent and I shared a car but he is has some after school classes which is why I am walking home. It's not so bad, at least it'll give me some time alone to think.

A few cars passed by me. I wish I can just turn and run home.

Of course not, it won't be good if anyone sees a large brown wolf running towards the suburbs. I might be caught and sent to the animal shelter.

Or the zoo. Or shot dead by anyone. I shuddered at the thought.

Just then, a black car stopped beside me and the window was rolled down.

"Keira! We've been looking everywhere for you!" Nate got out of the car.

"And why is that?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

He simply said "Joseph."

"What about him?"

"Just get in the car. We'll explain on the way." Marco shouted in the car.

Why not? I went in the backseat with Nate sitting at shotgun before Marco drove off.

"So... where are we going?" I asked them after five minutes of awkward silence.

"Guys?" Great, I'm ignored.

"Marco you promised me that you're going to tell me."

Again no reply.

Then I have an idea. I opened the door of the car. That's when I realized how fast Marco was driving.

"What the hell are you doing?" Marco shouted from the driver's seat.

"Huh?" I guess Nate was sleeping the whole time. "Are we there yet?"

"If you are not telling me where we are going I'm gonna jump out of the car."

"Seriously dude? Just tell her already." Nate rolled his eyes.

"We are going back to the pack house." Marco said.

What? "But that's near the Canadian borders!" I stated.
