I woke up again for the eighth time. Like fully awake. The opening my eyes kind of thing. But it's kind of bright here so I immediately squeezed my eyes shut.

That beeping thing is bugging the hell out of me. Like seriously, won't it shut up?

"Shut up!" I mumbled and fumbled for something to throw at that beeping thing but ended up hitting my hand on the bed frame.

"Ow." I winced.

"Keira! You're awake!" I heard Joseph's voice.

My eyes flew open but was blinded by the really bright light. Again. I shielded my eyes with my arms.

"I know that you wanted to look at me badly but you gotta be patient." Joseph tried to pull my arm away but I swatted him with my arm instead.

I slowly opened my eyes looked at Joseph. He was wearing a fitted black tee which look really hot. His hair was really messy but below his eyes is really dark. It's like he haven't slept for days.

"Are you okay? You look tired." I asked.

"Never been better." Joseph took my hand and kissed it.

I look around. Funny. I've never been here before.

"Where am I?"

"The pack hospital."

"Oh." I paused for a moment. "Can I leave now?"

Joseph looked at me in disbelieve. "No! Absolutely not! I'm not letting you leave when you've been unconscious for three days!"

"Whoa chill... I was just asking... No need to get so worked up." I gave him a light shove to lighten up the mood.

"I know... I'm just worried." Joseph bend down until his lips met mine.

My body was twisted in a weird angle as I tried to kiss him properly. Frowning, I sat cross-legged on the bed facing him and continued our kiss.

With Joseph bend towards me, it's so much easier to reach him. Joseph coiled his hands around mine and tug me closer. I wrapped my arms around his neck, my hands ruffling his already messy hair.

"You should have inform me right away when the patient's awake, not making out with the patient." A voice interrupted us.

Joseph and I pulled away. I looked at Joseph as his ran a hand in his hair. His face looked slightly red and his lips are red and puffy.

I giggled and covered my face when my cheeks felt warm.

A girl about our age dressed in a white lab coat gave us an amused smile as she walked into the room.

"Uh... I was just asking her if she wants to see you now." Joseph tried to lie.

"Uh-huh." She turned towards me. "I'm pack doctor here. Just call me Doc." She introduced herself.

"So how are you feeling?" Doc asked.

I smiled and muttered an 'I'm fine'.

"Alright lets check your heart rate now." Doc pressed the stethoscope on my chest.

"Her heart rate is faster than usual Joseph." Doc gave Joseph a smirk.

"Uh... I should call Vince right now." Joseph practically ran out of the room.

"Doc?" She smiled at me.

"I saw everything that day. I just wanna know if my dad and Steven is really..." I took a deep breath.

I can't seem to complete my sentence. I hope Doc would somehow say that it was a miracle that both of them are fine.

Which didn't happen.
