5. Broken friendship

I grabbed my English notebook before going to class. Of course, Joseph King is in the class with his friends. Laughing.

They really look like they are in some kind of models in a commercial. Hot and drool-worthy.

Heck what am I even thinking about? Joseph is like the grand prize of the three. Of course I would think of that, he's my mate.

And out of all the empty tables, he chose to seat at our table. Mine and Gracie's. I went up to him.

His dirty blond friend nudged Joseph and pointed at me. Great. So much for ruining the 'commercial'. I noticed them wiggling their eyebrows at him before sitting at the last row. He turned to me.

"Hey Keira." His voice sounded deep and sexy.

"Hey yourself." I smiled at him.

"Wanna sit?" He gestured at the empty sit in front of him which is my seat.

"Actually this is my seat." I sat on the chair. "And you're sitting on my friend's seat." I pointed out.

"I'm sure she doesn't mind." He gestured to the door where Gracie was walking in with Wyatt.

Oh great. Their arms are touching.

I can't believe it! I almost went out with a guy who went out with the girl's best friend after he was left hanging. And he didn't even get rejected.

The most shocking thing is Gracie. Look at how she was brushing her arm against his, flirting with him. Trying to make me jealous? Why would she even do that?

God I feel so pissed right now... so mad that I can smash her face against the wall... punch her face until it there's blood on my fist... break her face...

"Stop. She's not worth it." Joseph gloved his big, warm hands on mine.

I take deep breaths to calm myself down. Thank god he's there to calm me. I could have shown everyone my extraordinary strength or even shift.

"Thanks Joseph." I smiled at him.

"It's fine... they're really not worth your time." He patted my hand.

I looked down as Gracie and Wyatt took the seat behind us. Seriously? Out of many seats they chose to seat behind us?

Back then before Joseph joined this school I was really excited that Wyatt sat behind me. Now I feel like gagging myself knowing that my ex-crush and best friend are doing some dirty business behind my back. Literally.

I feel bad though. Wyatt has nothing to do with this. This is our fight, Gracie and I. We should solve this on our own instead of bringing others in.

Before I knew it, I was facing Wyatt.

"Wyatt..." his blue eyes looked at my brown eyes.

"Wyatt I'm really sorry I didn't mean to run away earlier it's just-"

"It's fine alright? No worries. I'm good. You're good. We are all good." He smiled at me.

"Well, in that case I just wanna say that I wanna be your-" once again Wyatt interrupted me.

"I'm sorry. We can't. Gracie's my girlfriend right now." He ended.

What?

"You heard him. Now why don't you turn around and look in front?" Gracie wiggled her fingers at me before turning around and kissing Wyatt on the lips.
