Swayside?

Merle has been annoying everyone in the camp, daddy and I are the only ones who can actually bare to sit and talk to him. Glenn and Maggie can't even look at him and whenever Merle makes a single sound they try and get rid of him.

I know Merle is different from when Daddy and him were together but he has changed and unfortunately not for the better

"Merle, why don't you just go? Go back to the governor and back to Woodbury" Glenn says sneering at Merle

"Shut it Chinaman" Merle spat towards Glenn

"Merle" I whisper towards him "Glenn is Korean, not Chinese" I say in his ear. Merle laughs and ruffles my hair

"I know sweet pea, like annoying him" He says picking me up in his non-stumpy arm. He walks us to the top level of block and starts ripping up the mattress.

"Wha' ya doing uncle M" I ask walking towards him and sitting next to him on the floor

"Looking for du- things" He says smiling to himself

"MEG!" I hear Sophia scream up "Bye uncle M" I say running towards Sophia as we go out to the court yard and start kicking the ball that daddy found for us.

"Yeah, GGGGOOOOOAAAALLLL!" I scream from the top of my voice and start jumping around

I hear deep chuckling from behind me and turn to see daddy laughing "Did you see tha' daddy" I say running towards him as he drops his crossbow and picks me up swinging me around.

"Tha was amazin' darlin" daddy said smiling "Daddy's goin away for a bit so I'll see ya tonight" he said kissing my forehead and walking away as I walked back to Sophia and continued to play.

It was getting dark when I next saw daddy. He was all red eyed and had tear tracks running down his face. His hair was all messed up and looked over all bad.

"Daddy, everything alright?" I question him as I walk over to him. He walks to one of the empty cells and sits on the bottom bunk and places his head in his hands and cries

"Daddy" I say walking over to him and start stroking his head and kissing his forehead, nose, cheeks and neck. Daddy lists his neck and looks at me

"Wha' ya doing little one" He says rubbing his eyes with the back of his hands. When you are upset you rub my head and kiss my face, I was just doing the same thing to you" I say looking up at him and move my elf to his lap.

"Wha's wrong?" I ask look up at him from his lap

"Uncle Merle has died" daddy says looking down at me and kissing my forehead

"What do you mean, Rick says he was looking for some stuff and thangs" I say shaking my head

"Nofin can kill a Dixon but a Dixon" I say looking at daddy "Did Merle commit swayside?" I ask looking at him

"Swayside" daddy asks smiling slightly "wha's swayside?" he asks looking at me

"When someone dies by themselves" I whisper not really wanting it too say the word. Even with the stuff that has just happened daddy actually laughs

"Suicide, darlin not swayside" daddy says suddenly falling quiet again

"Merle will always be an ass but he will our ass" daddy says and I gasped "tha's a bad word" I say smiling as daddy smiles too.

"Merle will want us to kick the bad guys butt and we will" I say smiling and pointing my fingers and slashing the air "Its Merle's arm"

"Meg, Sophia stay here and Beth will look after ya" daddy says walking away and going towards the prison whilst Bet, Carl, Sophia and Hershel. "Here, you can hold her£ Beth says passing a sleeping Judith into my arms.

she wakes up and looks up to me with the big blue eyes "Hewoll Judith, you being a good girl" I ask rocking her back and forth as Carl is talking to someone behind the bush and then we start walking back to the prison and I walk past a dead boy and gasp.

"Look away" Beth says trying to take Judith from me

"Nah, it's alright I got her" I say continuing to walk towards daddy.

Soooooooooooooo Sorry for the long wait. Having to go back to college was a bit disappointing but I think I have sorted everything out!
