It was the next day and [Your Name], the dragon, was sunbathing outside at the bottom of the mountain. They heard nearby footsteps and lazily opened their [Eye Color] reptilian eyes and gazed to where the sound was.

In their sight of vision stood the Norwegian viking who had a deer-skin sack resting over his shoulder.

Curious, [Your Name] picked their head up from the ground and questioned Lukas. "What's in the bag?"

"You'll see," the blonde replied, a speck of teasing within his usual monotone voice. He took out something resembling a large saddle. Lukas continued, "If I was going to fly with you to the cave, I figured that I would want to stay alive and not fall and possibly die."

He went closer to the [Favorite Color] color dragon and held the saddle out for them to see.

The saddle was the right size to fit them, tan and [2Fav.Color], with a silver Norse symbol around the edges. [Your Name]'s eyes widened at the sight of the nicely made saddle.

"It's beautiful," they said in awe. "How did you get this?"

"Remember my friend, Berwald? The one who's very crafty?" Lukas asked, to which [Your Name] nodded. "Well, I asked him if he was able to make a saddle fit for a dragon and—," he stopped and gestured to the saddle in his hand.

The awesome dragon got up and said, "Go ahead and try it on."

Lukas walked up to them and strapped on the most glorious saddle. (Now I think I'm exaggerating a bit. XD )

Once he got on, he started to say, "Let's go. If we go now we'll—"

Lukas was interrupted by a small voice from afar saying, "Wait! Hold on!"

They simultaneously looked to where the voice came from. And there they saw little Emil, running towards them.

Lukas groaned and held his face in his hands while [Your Name], on the other hand, could barely handle the little boy's cuteness.

Once he got to them he talked in between breaths. "Stóri... bróðir... take me... with you."

     Lukas answered, "No."

"Aww, why not, Lukas?" [Your Name] butted in. "What if-"

     "No."

"Please," the dragon and boy pleaded.

     "No."

     "Please?!"

     "No."

     "Please?!"

     "Ugh, fine."

     "Yay!"

Lukas helped Emil get in front of him. When they were ready, he told [Your Name] to go.

Said dragon flapped their wings and lifted up into the air, right below the clouds. Lukas giving them directions every once in a while.
