(200 years later)

As I freeze people's laundry and blow away their paper, I laugh. I'm having so much fun. The wind is blowing me across the night sky. I land on a tall building, balancing on its tip.

"Hey, wind" I shout at the sky. The wind howls at me. "Take me home" I yell as I jump off the building. The wind picks me up, and I fly over the clouds. I scream happily. I fall back through the clouds, and it's day time.

"Snow day!!!" I yell happily. I know Jack Frost does the snow days, but I help. Now that Jack Frost is a guardian, I have fun with the kids. There's one child I visit every year. Her name is Clara Carroll. This year is special because I'm visiting her on her birthday. I see her in her backyard leaving.

"Hat on," says her mum "you don't want Crystal Whyte snipping at your nose."

"Whose Crystal Whyte?" asks Clara fixing up her beautiful blue winter hat.

"No one, honey," says Clara's mum "It's just an expression" She smiles and leaves with her friends. She takes her brand new sledge with her.

"Hey," I say snap as she passes by me "Whose Crystal Whyte?" I ask picking up a bit of snow and rolling it into a ball mischievously. I blow on it, and the snowball turns blue. I throw it at Clara, who has crossed the road into the park. Her brown eyes glow.

"Ok," she laughs "Who threw that?"

"Well, it wasn't Jack Frost, kiddo," I say flying over to the park. Clara picks up a small pile of snow and rolls it up into a ball. She throws it at one of her friends.

"Clara Carroll" her friend whines "No fair."

"You struck first" Clara laughs. She and her friends start a snowball fight.

"Alright," I say happily "Who needs ammo?" I fly around touching the ground and snowballs appear. A snowball flies at Clara and she stumbles back on a snowman. The snowball flies past her as she falls over. The snowball hits a car and the children continue playing. They all fall over and Clara continues to run.

"It's getting a little slippery" I laugh and touch the ground. Clara falls onto her sled. I guide her through the street with ice. I see a huge truck and immediately stop and turn the ice away from the street. She screams and then turns. Clara flies into the air and lands and a pile of snow. I fly onto the statue in front of her.

"Yeah!" I jump for joy

"Clara?" asks one of her friends "Are you alright?" Clara gets up. A smile stuck to her face.

"That was awesome!" she screams happily. Then a table smashes into her.

"Whoops," I say to myself. Clara holds up something.

"Yeah" she screams

"A tooth," says one of her friends "That means cash"

"No," I say sadly to them. They keep talking. "C'mon. What about all the fun we just had? That wasn't the tooth fairy. That was me" I stand out about 5 paces in front of Clara and her friends. "What does a girl have to do to get a little attention around here" As I finished, Clara walked straight through me. I stop, holding my stomach. I look down in sadness and fly away.

Meanwhile at the North Pole...

"So what do we do?" asks a tall, greyish blue rabbit.

"Yeah, we need to know, North," asks a handsome young boy

"Jack, Bunny, Tooth, Sandy," says a big man "Don't worry. I wouldn't have called you hear unless it was serious"

"So what's the big news?" asks Jack

"I don't know," says North casually

"What do you mean you don't know?" asks Jack confused "It's snow day today and you called me here because you don't know what the problem is?"

"Jack," says Bunny "It's ok. Crystal has it under control"

"Crystal? Since when do you care about Crystal?" asks Jack sweetly

"I don't," Bunny says angrily

"Good" laughs Jack "Because I thought you were in love with her for a second" Bunny turns away angrily. Tooth and her fairies are discussing what the weather is like in different countries in different continents. Behind them, Sandman was trying to tell everyone that the moon was coming over to the hole in the roof. Sandman cannot speak, instead he makes little pictures in the bright golden sand he uses for dreams above his head and he uses his body to communicate. He finally got North's attention.

"Ah, Man in Moon," yells North happily "Sandy, why didn't you say something" Sandy just rolls his eyes. "It's been a long time old friend. What is big news?" The moonlight shines onto the guardians symbol. All the guardians gather around the symbol. A shadow turns without anything to cast it.

"Pitch?" Jack questions confusedly stepping forward. North looks back up at the moon.

"What must we do?" North asks the moon. The moon's light gets thinner, casting onto the letter 'G'. A blue crystal on a stone pole rises up from the G.

"Uh, guys," says Tooth "You know what this means?"

"He's picking a new guardian," says North excitedly

"Why?" asks Bunny confusedly

"Because Manny thinks we need help," says North raising an eyebrow

"Is this how I got chosen?" asks Jack happily. Sandman nods. Tooth gasps in excitement.

"Since when do we need help?" asks Bunny annoyedly.

"I wonder who it's gonna be" Tooth interrupts Bunny excitedly. Sandman puts a man and a clock above his head "The Timekeeper?" He nods

"Please, not the Leprecorn, please not the Leprecorn" Bunny pleads to himself. A blue light forms above the crystal and shapes itself. A young girl shapes in the blue light.

"Crystal Whyte" North says surprisingly

"I take it back," Bunny says regretting his decision of people "The Leprecorn is fine"

"As long she helps to protect the children, right?" says Jack snapping out of his trance.

"Children?" Bunny says annoyedly "She doesn't care about children. All she does is freeze water pipes and mess with our deliveries"

"Pretty much like I did?" Jack asks mockingly. Bunny stops.

"Exactly," says Bunny pointing at Jack.

"No" yells Bunny pulling his attention away from Jack "Crystal is an irresponsible, selfish-"

"Guardian" North cuts him off.

"Crystal Whyte is many things, but she is not a Guardian" Bunny yells annoyedly.
