Rise of the Guardians 2

Pitch is Back

I hear Jack shouting from the next room. I hear a thud.

"Jack!" I yell weakly

"No, Crystal" Bunny shouts as I attempt to get off the bed

"I have to" I weakly look up at Bunny. I've got to get to Jack. I've kept this a secret, but I really like him. From the time I knew he defeated Pitch 'till now. I need to help him. I hear another loud thump on the wall.

'No one can stop me' I think 'No one. I need to help'. Pain rips through me and I fall from my hands. I groan as tears start to fill my eyes.

"No" Tooth says "You don't. I'm sure Jack is fine"

"No, he's not," I say weakly and worried. Why do I have to hurt so much? The Guardians leave, except for Sandman, to go and help Jack. What has happened to him?

With Jack...

North picks up Crystal and takes her into the other room. The rest follow, except me. I stand here, looking for the source of Pitch's laugh or even a movement. He will pay for what he's done. I've secretly loved Crystal. There's something about her that I really like. I'll avenge her, even if it means I have to die. I hear another evil laugh.

"Pitch!" I scream "Please" I hold up my hooked staff at the shadow. He laughs again.

"This has been a fun game," Pitch says evilly happy, coming out of the shadows "Hasn't it?" I'm so angry, I could hit him with one shot and make him pay.

"Game?" I shout "You think this was a game?"

"Yes," Pitch calmly says "But it wasn't my game. It was yours"

"What?" I say calming down and loosening my grip on my staff, making the hook fall to the centre of the room.

"Look at what you've done" he bribes "You've hurt her"

"I - I" I stammer sadly. I can't find the words to hurt Pitch. Was it really my fault that Crystal's in this mess? Before I could say anything else, I see a glimpse of black sand and then I'm knocked hard against the wall. What if Crystal heard? She might be worried. I get off the floor and I'm knocked against the wall again. I hear a yell.

"Jack!" I hear Crystal scream. No. She heard. Hopefully, she's persuaded by the rest of the Guardians to stay in the room. It's too dangerous for her at the moment. I see the Guardians come in, except for Sandy. He must be looking after Crystal. North takes out his swords, Bunny his boomerangs and Tooth doesn't have any weapons. They all fight off Pitch and he disappears.

"Where'd he go?" North says quietly and curiously

"I don't know" says Bunny bravely "But at least he's gone" I watch as sandy comes rushing in.

Back to Crystal...

Sandy leaves to go and see what's happening with Pitch and the rest of the Guardians. As soon as he leaves, I hear voices in the other room and then I hear a faint, evil laugh. Is it Pitch again?

"Stop it," I plead helplessly "Please"

"Hmmm," Pitch thinks coming out of the shadows. He walks over to me, bends down and holds my chin. "I think... no" he pushes my chin away.

"What do you want?" I ask weakly "Why are you doing this?"

"All of these questions" Pitch smiles "But none of them are going be ever answered" I accidently shoot out a blast of ice. What's happening? I've always been able to control my powers. Why now I can't? Pitch picks me up the way Jack did.

"Put me down!" I yell. I hope Jack can hear me.

In the other room...

Sandy flies in to see what had happened.

"It's ok, Sandy," Jack says happily as Sandy approaches him "I'm fine" Sandy smiles.

"So how's Crystal doing?" North asks concerned. Sandy puts his thumb down and then puts it up.

"So she's ok?" Tooth asks worriedly. Sandy nods. Tooth exhales in relief. A yell comes from the other room.

"Put me down!" came the yell. The Guardians looked at each other.

"Crystal!" they all said worriedly at the same time.

Back to Crystal...

The Guardians rush in, Jack first.

"Jack!" I scream frightened as Pitch laughs. Jacks jumps toward me and grabs my hand, just as Pitch click his fingers. Jack, Pitch and I get teleported into a really dark room. I can't see a thing. Something knocks hard onto my head and knocks me out.
