"No, Crystal" says Jack holding my head "Stay with me. Please" Tears start to fill his eyes. The Guardians come in next.
"Crystal?" I hear North yell "Are you alright?"
"Of course she's not" yells Bunny "Look at her"
"Oh, no" Tooth flies back in shock, covering her mouth "What happened?" I try to say something, but I hurt to much to even speak. Jack picks me up and hugs me. I close my eyes.
"No," Jack says sadly "Please don't close your eyes"
"What happened, Jack?" Tooth repeats
"It's my fault" Jack admits. I shake my head slowly. Jack puts his ear close to my mouth.
"Pitch" I barely whisper
"No" Jack smiles "He didn't do it"
"What?" asks Tooth "What did she say?"
"She said it was Pitch" Jack gives a little laugh. But the other Guardians don't think it funny.
"What?" yells Bunny. I don't feel so good. I'm really tired. I close my eyes, but then realise what I'm doing. I open my eyes again. If I close my eyes then I'll die even quicker. I groan. Jack takes me to a room with a bed in it. It has nothing else in it. Just a bed with a snowflake printed sheet and pillow. White metal poles hold up the mattress. Jack puts me down on top the sheet. I roll up into a ball again.
"Don't close your eyes," Jack says worryingly. I nod, promisingly. I feel like I want to, but I don't. I'll die quicker. I don't want to die.
"So?" Bunny says "What do we do?"
"I don't know," North says worriedly
"She's turning dying," Jack shouts "Do something" I hear an evil laugh. I groan as if I'm having a nightmare.
"What's wrong with her?" Tooth says scaredly. I hear the laugh even louder. The Guardians hear it, too.
"Pitch" Jack shouts angrily "Stop it. Leave her alone" the laughter stops. I see a shadow on the wall that I'm facing (I'm facing away from the Guardians). I feel Jack turn around. I try to get off the bed, but I fall onto the floor. I can't move know. I'm in too much pain. I start to question myself. Why am I here? Why did the moon choose me? How can this pain stop? North picks me up and carries me out of the room. The rest of the Guardians follow except Jack. Why does he have to stay behind? North takes me into another room. Empty except for a bed. A wooden one this time. Same pattern and design except wood. He puts me down on the bed.
"How can he be here?" Bunny asks Tooth. I watch Sandman shrug his shoulders.
"I don't know," Tooth says worriedly "Do think is has something to do with Crystal?"
"I don't know," Bunny says curiously.
