Aphmau's POV
I sat down in my first period class, science, and looked around the room. It felt so weird to not know anyone. So... scary. I knew I would find my group of friends, but it won't be the same.
"Hi... I-I'm Garroth. Um, is it fine if I sit next to you?"
I turned my head and saw a boy with hair that was a light shade of blonde, with icy blue eyes.
"I-I mean... I can sit somewhere else if you want..." He trailed off. I felt bad for him. I was just about to object when the teacher spoke up. "Garroth, take a seat, please. The bell is going to ring."
He quickly sat down next to me. I felt so bad for him, all I did was stare and he didn't know what to do. Ugh!
I wonder if he's new too...
Garroths POV
I really hope that girl doesn't think I'm weird. I'm not weird, just... misunderstood, I guess.
"Hey, sorry if that was awkward, I didn't mean for you to feel weird, it's just- I'm new here." I heard a whisper.
I turned my head that direction and saw it was her."My name is Aphmau, what's yours?"
I glanced back up to make sure the teacher wasn't looking. Yes! He's taking a phone call. Hopefully he still won't notice us.
"Hi Aphmau my name is Garroth. Have you met anyone today? If not, you can at my table if you want."
Her face brightened up. "Hey, thanks! I actually haven't met anyone that I can qualify as a friend, so you're the first!" She was beaming. It feels so good to help someone out. I just hope Pete doesn't come to our lunch table today. Ugh, Pete...
