Chapter 13 - Round Two

      Aphmau's POV

I saw Laurence walk out after Dante, and decided to stay out of it. They're not ditching, I can see them outside the doors, they're just talking.

"Hey Aph! Where's Laurence and Dante?" A voice said. I turned around. "Oh hey, Garroth! They're just outside talking about... I don't really know, actually."

      He nods as if he understood the whole situation. "Say, wanna dance? I told Cadenza I'd be taking a break, and I think I'm ready to go back on the dance floor."

       I bobbed my head up and down. "Sure! Let's go!" I grabbed him by his forearm and walked to where I last saw Cadenza. Alright, she's still there. She turned and smiled. "Hey Aph! Thanks for bringing Garroth back, he would've stayed at the chocolate fountain for an hour if you weren't there!"We both laughed.

       "Heeeey!" Garroth whined, making me and Cadenza laugh harder. Finally, Cadenza took both mine and Garroth's hand and started dancing.

Laurence's POV

After a while me and Dante decided to walk in. We saw Aph, Garroth, and Cadenza dancing in a small circle.

"Wanna join them?" Dante asked. I nodded. "Yeah, sure! Let's go crash the party!" I laughed. We both ran over to them and started acting like monkeys. Literal. Monkeys. Like the scratching of the armpits and everything.

      "Oh my gosh wooooow you guys! You are such nerds!" Cadenza giggled. Aph grinned. "Stop monkeying around Laurence and Dante! You're just scratching the surface of my annoyance." We all laughed. "Let's daaaaaaaaance!!!" Dante shouted.

After The Dance...

Garroth's POV

      "C'mon, Aph! I'll race you to the car!" I said. She shook her head. "Garroth, will you ever learn?" She sprinted away, laughing along with the everyone else.

       "CHEATER!" I yelled back as I ran towards her. Someday...

       I finally reached her and she was practically in hysterics. "You never learn, do you? Well, since you lost I'll be nice, but... WHO IS CHAMP?" She yelled.

I sighed. "You are... champ. Congratulations, woot woot, hip hip hooray." I said sarcastically. I turned around to find Zane, Kiki, Laurence, Dante, Cadenza, and Nicole. Dante was glaring was glaring at Nicole.

"Let's all get in, I'll drive." Laurence said. Cadenza frowned. "Laurence, you haven't gotten your drivers permit. I'll drive."

He gave her a goofy smile. "Oh yeeeaaaah! I, heh, I knew that! I mean, what type of person would forget that they couldn't dri -"

"Shut up!" She yelled while getting in the car. "Everyone welcome aboard the... car!"

"The car, really?" I muttered.

At Garroth's Place...

Dante's POV

"Wow, it's nice in here!" I exclaimed. The house had several paintings of nature, and the Eiffel Tower, along with family portraits of what it looks like Garroth's family.

One of the pictures had a man with dirty blonde hair holding both the shoulders of - was that Garroth and Zane? And it wasn't just the pictures, either. There was a beautiful light-colored dining table with its legs curved up in a spiral meeting the top of the table.

"Wooah, this is cool!" Laurence exclaimed. "I know, right?" Aph whispered.

I looked over at the clock. It read 12:17! "Guys it's pretty late, wanna crash down for the night?" I suggested. There were a few mumbled 'Yeah' 's from the group.

"Say, Garroth, where are your parents? Shouldn't they be home?" Cadenza asked. Garroth shook his head. "No, my father is on a business trip and Zane, well he's right here, and that's it!" He changed the subject. "Say, let's get blankets so people can sleep on the couch and extra bedrooms." He walked off quickly.

Aph looked at me and mouthed His mom? I looked around back at the paintings and realized that there were no portraits of his mom. Interesting.

Garroth rushed back with blankets and handed us a few each. "You guys can find where you're comfortable to sleep and then feel free to crash out for the night!"

I saw Laurence going towards the dining table, and piling blankets on top of it so that it was cushioned. He laid down on the table muttering. "Goodnight, Table. Sweet dreams..."

Cadenza went up to, what it looked like, the master bedroom, Aph laid down on the couch, Zane and Kiki went off somewhere, an I was alone with Nicole. Just great.
