Chapter 4
Lucy's POV
As I walked down the long empty corridors, I couldn't help but notice I was being followed. Every step I took was echoed and soon I realized Cair Paravel wasn't completely lifeless. The castle had been practically empty since the latest scandal.
A handsome, tall man walked out to me and gave me an uneasy look. Caspian had a look of discomfort on his face, as he frowned.
"Lucy, Susan..." he stuttered.
"I don't want to hear about it Caspian." I growled, turning around quickly.
"I didn't mean for it to happen. I never wanted to hurt her or anyone..." Caspian mumbled.
Ignoring him, I turned around and marched back up the long stairs and into my room.
Cristina was already waiting for me there, she had my bath drawn. As I undressed and sunk into the bath tub, she began cleaning the toilet.
"How are you, Lucy?" she asked, concerned.
"I'm..surviving."
"That doesn't sound like you."
"Well, Narnia is falling apart....what am I supposed to do?"
"Do you want to go horse back riding tonight...?" Cristina offered.
Glancing at her, I sighed, remembering when we had no worries. Aslan was still watching over Narnia and visiting Lucy regularly.
A thought, suddenly, struck me. I didn't want to be in Cair Paravel anymore or worry about Susan anymore....I wanted to go on a trip.
"Tell Peter I'm going to Archenland for a week." I stated.
Cristina looked a bit taken aback, "Are you sure a vacation is best at this time? In light of what's going on?"
"Maybe it's best at this time..."
"Maybe..." Cristina still didn't seem convinced but she said, "I'll pack your things for morning then?"
"Yes."

The next morning, I left. Everyone seemed to think I was leaving forever. Susan was especially heart-broken. Geroff was going to leave her and Caspian wouldn't share a word with her. Plus, Lilliandith was still no where to be found.
I climbed onto Saber, one of Edmund's griffins, my small trunk was full of trousers and flannels. The truth is I wasn't planning on going to Archenland...
I had switched my actual trunk with this one, which also had Susan's bow and arrows safely stored at the bottom.
Yes, I had decided to find Aslan and decided to keep it to myself.I knew Peter would never approve, but I had to save Narnia.

Rain's POV
Donvix led me up the crumbling, stones to the edge of the Lone Islands. He had a grin oni his face as he looked out to the sun. It was slowly setting as I looked across the ocean with my clear, blue eyes.
I threw on my hood, which covered most of my face, except my blue eyes were seen in any form of light, so they shone through. I wore tight material on my legs which would help me hide in the darkness. I wore a tight, dark corsette with a shawl knitted to it and hood attached to hide my face, plus my knee-high, black boots. They had to be big, because inside the boots where two, small daggers.
The mission was simple, break into Cair Paravel and steal the ice wand. Get in and out, and I only had until morning. The sun was beginning to set and Donvix ordered some rebels to saddle up one very angry phoenix. His jaws were clamped shut as I climbed onto his back.
