Chapter 2:
Jack had eventually calmed her down holding her and whispering soothing things to her in his kind and strong American accent, she didn't know what she'd do without him, almost ever night that week she had been woken screaming or crying by another dream involving the mysterious man in the brown pin strip suit and his magical blue box and this wasn't the first time for this dark dream either, it often plagued her nightmares. She closes her eyes lightly as they burned from a mix of exhaustion and tears,
"Which one was it this time?" Jack spoke softly having to hold his tongue, it killed him that even as a human she longed for the doctor....and he could say nothing.
"The-the bad o-o-one, th-the one where he-he's in pain" she stuttered through choppy breaths, "I-I th-think I-I'll g-g-go in to s-s-see doctor s-smith to-tomorrow" she adds. She dosent know why but every night after one of her dreams she has a desperate need to speak with her therapist, she knows it wasn't healthy, to be that attached but she couldn't help it, there was something that felt.....right about him like she could tell him anything, like he would keep her safe...
"I'll call in the morning to see when they can fit you in" he says smiling down at her as she returns it though weakly. They both look at the clock, a large red "4:30 am" flashes as she sighs,
"Might a-as well get u-up..." She scoots out of his arms as he pulls her close once more laughing mischievously and she giggles, "I'll go make breakfast, come on" she smiles tugging him along.
