Chapter 11

Ann was shaking but then man beside her was no longer John Smith, the creatures kept referring to him as, "The Doctor". He was acting quite different too, the man he knew was soft and quiet, he seemed to be lost in his own head to show much of any expression except and scoul, which only happened when one of the guards hands squeezed to tightly to make her whimper. Then his gaze was forced directly on the Rhino in warning who would then loosen his grip a bit. His eye where only the soft chocolate she had always known when facing her when he had to calm her and prevent another panic attack from situation at hand, "It's alright Ann it's just a bit of space junk hitting the side~" he would say in calming, soothing voice as he held her hand when she jumped at every noise. She was tense and jumpy but the man slowly leant over and whispered in her ear, "Open the pendant Annie..." He leans back and she looks up at him on shock, no one but Jack and Owen ever called her that and it was impossible that he had heard them say, they had never come to her appointments....it...it was impossible but still her hand traveled to the pendant around her neck and fingers laced over the symbols she had never quite understood, fiddling with the little latch. She looks to him once more before she starts to open a thing that never did but the movement stops with a jerk that almost sends her tumbling to the floor if it where not for two strong hands around her. The pendant falls back into place unopened as the warriors motion for them to exit out the back and he helps her up quickly to oblige with their instructions.
