Ann leans against the door to her bedroom knowing any moment Jack would be knocking on it, questioning as to why she had sped to her room in such a rush but she needed time to clear her head. Why had she not seen it before!? The man from dream.....and Doctor Smith.....they could have easily been one person....
There where small clicks in her mind as she recalled the same safe feeling that she had when in a section usually accompanied what it felt like around the handsome stranger. As she predicted, Jack was soon tapping at her door speaking softly,
"Annie, you ok in there?" She took deep breaths to steady her voice as it shook, " J-just f-f-fine t-thanks!" Her mobile soon sprang to life with a shrill ring that made her jump, as she opened it, the last voice she ever thought she'd hear answers, "Um....hello? Miss.Lee? It's doctor Smith I....I just got this number from my receptionist so I hope it's correct," he said with a nervous chuckle while she tries to shake the shock from her mind. "Y-yes it's m-me," she managed to choke out before he hung up from the silence. "Oh.....brilliant alright well I.....I just wanted to tell you you'd left your drawing with me when you ran out so quickly!" He laughs gently and her heart swoons at the sound, "I was hoping to return it to you, would....." She hears him take a deep breath before continuing, "Would you perhaps consider meeting me tomorrow, say around 2 at the coffee shop by my office?" He sped through the words quickly so it took her a moment to register his request, he was asking her out....she had to stop from squealing in pure joy cleaning her throat and speaking slowly as to not let off any indication of her excitement. "Yes that would be lovely, thank you I'll see you there, goodbye Doctor!" She couldn't keep the extra peppiness from her voice as she hung up the phone collapsing on her bed in a dreamy sigh.
