The final bell rang and I ran to my locker, desperate to leave the school before the skinny squad spots me. "Hey Alex" Shit, too late. Bianca's voice dripped with evil. I turned slowly to face her and I found her wearing 5 inch heels, a miniskirt with half her ass hanging out, and a belly shirt which exposed her pierced belly button. She towered over me and all I wanted to do was shrink into a little ball and disappear.
She smirked at me and put her finger tips on my chin pushing it up, making me look up at her. "Hm," she said "A bit too much concealer. I also think your face would look better with a new nose. Here, I'll break it so you can have an excuse to get a nose job." She held her fist back and I shut my eyes tightly, waiting for her fist to collide with my nose.
"Stop Bianca." A low voice spoke up. Someone spoke up for me? I opened my eyes slightly and found a boy with dark blue eyes that sparkled like stars in the night sky looking down at me concerned. "Are you okay?" He said worriedly. I nodded a bit and he held my hand reassuringly. "Stay away from her Bianca. Tell that to Kacie and all your little friends." He was taller than me by a lot, he even towered over Bianca.
"Peyton!" Kacie walked over practically drooling over Peyton "Why are you helping that... freak?" She gestured towards me in disgust and started running her hand along his chest, trying to be seductive. Peyton wiped her hand off him, "Kacie, two things. One, Alexandria isn't a freak. Two, don't touch me. We aren't dating anymore, you're just a desperate bitch. Stay away from me and don't even talk to me." I was taken by surprise, most boys would hook up with Kacie any chance possible. Kacie scowled at me and mock pouted at Peyton. "But baby-" she stammered. "Don't call me that, were over. Get that through your pea-sized brain!"
Kacie looked pissed, "FINE! I can get any guy in this school, IN THE WHOLE WORLD! It's your loss!" She stamped off after grabbing one of the jocks shirt collar and french-kissing him disgustingly. He swooned after her as she marched away like a child throwing a tantrum. The skinny squad followed her along with the jocks.
Peyton didn't let go of my hand and his touch sent sparks through my whole body. "I'm Peyton by the way." His voice sent chills down my back. "Wanna ride home, Alexandria?" I shrugged slightly and he guided me to his car. "So, do you ever speak." I shook my head no and he shrugged a bit. "Oh... Here, I have an idea." He grabbed a notepad from his backpack and a pen and handed them to me. "You can write on this. So where do you live?" I wrote my address and 'P.S. Just call me Alex.' "Alex, I like that. Oh and I live a block away from you!" He grinned and I smiled back at him.
Once he dropped me off at my house and drove away, I secretly didn't want him to leave. I wished he took me away like I was Wendy and he was Peter Pan, I know that's a stupid thought but whatever. When I was little I always imagined Peter Pan would come and take me to Neverland, away from all the pain.
I walked inside my house to be greeted by my dad out cold on the ground, surrounded by empty beer bottles. This always happened, it either meant he would wake up raging and I would be his personal dummy or he wouldn't wake up for the rest of the afternoon and evening so I would get a break from him. But of course, with my luck he woke up pissed off and screaming my name.
