Author’s Note: I’m so sorry I haven’t updated in 4 days! I haven’t had time to update and asdfghjkl. I be sorry. But I'm gonna update more frequently now :)

By the way, some of you know I was going to write a Pierce The Veil fanfiction, yeah, that’s not happening. The idea sucked and stuff.

I have another idea so in the far future I will possibly write that. Okay enjoy this chapter!

            Once I got released from the hospital, Peyton and I formed a band. Burning Sails, that was its name. We practiced everyday. Peyton sang with that angelic voice of his. I was the guitarist and backing female vocals. Olivia Hall, a girl I met when I bought an electric guitar from her guitar store, was the bassist. And Ash Syke, one of Peyton’s close friends, was the drummer.

            I wrote most of the songs since I also write poetry, so a lot of the songs were personal and meant a lot to me. I almost didn’t want to show and teach Peyton the songs.

            Pierce The Veil and Mayday Parade told their record label, Fearless Records, about our band and showed them a few of our cover songs. Along with All Time Low but to Hopeless Records. The bands even set us up our first gig; we were the opening act for Pierce The Veil. It was that night, and I swear, it was one of the best nights of my life.

* * *

            I squeezed my eyes shut, extremely nervous. We were on in less than 5 minutes! I bit my bottom lip and opened my eyes, still extremely uneasy.

            “You look like how I was before my first gig.” Vic announced, sitting next to me. I chuckled nervously in response and played with my fingers, trying to calm myself. Vic started to say something else but was interrupted by the stage manager, telling us that we had to be on. Vic wished me good luck and I took a deep breath and followed the rest of my band on stage.

            Teenage girls around my age cheered and gaped at Peyton, whom I must say did look pretty attractive tonight. I gritted my teeth and felt jealousy, but Liv sent me a reassuring smile that said ‘Don’t worry about it.’ I smiled back and looked to Peyton.

            “Um… hey!” He screamed into the microphone over the crowds cheers and fangirls screams. “We’re Burning Sails, and well, we’re gonna preform for you and shit.” He said awkwardly. But the crowd still cheered.

            I rolled my eyes at him and talked into the microphone. “God, you are so fucking awkward Peyton.”

            He chuckled and looked at me. “But you love me anyways.” He walked over and kissed me softly. The crowd’s chorus of ooooo’s filled my ears and I pulled away from Peyton. Some of the fangirls glared at me but I just ignored them.

            Ash fake gagged and Olivia stuck her tongue out. “Save the couple shit for after we preform, kay?” She joined fake gagging with Ash. I stuck out my tongue at her and started playing the beginning of our first song, A Match Into Water. (A/N: I know it’s a Pierce The Veil song but let’s just pretend here, kay?) Peyton grinned and starting singing while Ash screamed the screaming parts. My voice harmonized with theirs on parts of the song.

Let's go!

I kissed the scars on her skin

I still think you're beautiful

And I don't ever want to lose my best friend.

I screamed out, "God, you vulture,
