Chapter 25: Night at the Jjimjilbang

"Youngjae! Wake Miyoung up, we're here at the jjimjilbang!" Jaebum shouts as the rest of the JYP idols file out of the company bus.

Youngjae startles awake, unsticking the cheek that he had pressed against the bus window while sleeping. His neck is slightly sore from being turned at an awkward angle for so long and there's a heavy weight resting on his shoulder. Rubbing the sleep out his eyes, Youngjae looks out the window to see the huge glass doors of the jjimjilbang outside of the bus window. The sun is setting in the corner of the horizon, indicating that the trip to the jjimjilbang had taken quite a long time. A quick glance at his watch tells Youngjae it's already 5 in the evening.

"Wake up, Miyoung-ah," Youngjae mutters sleepily and turns to see Miyoung leaning on his shoulder, stirring just slightly from the movement. He laughs a little as she groans in response, squeezing her eyes shut tighter and nuzzling her head against Youngjae's shoulder more,

"Oppa, let me sleep more," she complains, "I was up so late last night because I couldn't sleep."

The bus is empty now as the rest of the 2pm members file into the jjimjilbang and Youngjae knows that Jaebum will be worried if he and Miyoung don't come into the jjimjilbang soon, so he playfully carefully pushes Miyoung upright from his shoulder and pinches her cheek,

"Mianhe, mianhe, I'll let you drool on my shoulder some more tonight at the jjimjilbang, Miyoung-ah!"

Miyoung opens her eyes and sends Youngjae a sleepy half-glare as he stands up and to grab both their bookbags from the upper compartment.

"I'll make sure to drool extra on you for this," she groans as Youngjae hands her backpack to her with a cheeky grin.

"Fine with me," Youngjae shrugs, offering his hand to Miyoung to pull her up from the seat, and they make their way through the narrow bus aisles and out of the bus.

He can't help but wonder how the today will go as he watches Miyoung yawn and shuffle off the bus, especially after what happened yesterday during lunch. The Got7 boys had all been so excited to finally eat together with her since they've all been busy with group schedules, only to have their time together interrupted by a call from the Bangtan Boys. Personally, Youngjae didn't really mind it when Miyoung got the call from the Bangtan Boys, but he could feel Jinyoung instantly tense next to him when it happened.

True, it was weird that Miyoung was talking so happily and familiarly with the Bangtan Boys when Youngjae had never seen them meet before, but he figured they probably became friends during the Seoul Street Showcase- after all, Street 3 and the Bangtan Boys were the 2 best performances that day.

When Mark and Jinyoung got back to the dorm after being left alone with Miyoung, Jinyoung went straight to his room and shut the door. Things had obviously not gone well.

Mark just sat quietly on the couch in the dorm living room, staring at the TV where BamBam and Yugyeom were playing video games but not really watching anything on the screen. When Jackson asked Mark if Jinyoung ended up arguing with Miyoung, Mark had just shook his head with a sad look on his face and said:

"I think so...I don't think she really understands what's going on yet."

Miyoung tugs on Youngjae's jacket sleeve, quickly snapping him back into the present as she points at the towering glass jjimjilbang doors with wide eyes,

"Youngjae oppa, look! I think G-Dragon came here once in a video blog! I remember GD and Seungri sunbaenims going to a jjimjilbang with big glass doors just like this before!"
