Chapter 27: She's Mine

"Yoongi hyung!"

Yoongi flinches as the studio door flies open and hits the wall with a loud bang- no doubt making the dent that Namjoon had made in the wall even deeper. He had been in the studio since last night after dinner with Miyoung, Hunchul, and Supreme Boi, working on his new song- the song he had wrote so long ago, but only found the perfect melody for two nights ago.

But as much as Yoongi would like to continue with his work, he can still hear Jungkook's voice babbling furiously through the high-tech noise isolating technology of his prized headphones. So with a tired sigh, Yoongi turns to face the maknae with a mildly displeased expression.

"Hyung, look!" Jungkook frowns once he's gotten the older boy's attention, using one hand to slide Yoongi's headphones off and using the other to shove the cracked screen of his iPhone in Yoongi's face.

"Wha-" Yoongi mutters as his eyes adjust to the brightness of Jungkook's phone display.

Yoongi feels his chest lurch as soon as his eyes focus on the girl in front of him.

It's a live V app broadcast posted by Got7 last night, and the thumbnail photo for the video is a picture of Miyoung, face poked up close to the camera in a curious smile. Her nose is slightly pink with cold, but she's wearing a jacket that looks much too thin for the chill of the late night. Yoongi fights the urge to wrap his favorite gray scarf around her when he realizes that he gave it her yesterday when they went to dinner with Hunchul and Supreme Boi- and she still had it.

Which means Miyoung purposely chose not to wear the scarf when she went out.

Aish, don't get jealous over nothing, Yoongi lectures himself, trying to push the gnawing feeling in his chest. He instead tears his eyes away from the younger girl's smiling face and looks at the rest of the photo.

In the background, Yoongi can see that the video was taken outdoors at night, somewhere with the entire city skyline in view. He recognizes a few familiar faces in the background too- if he remembers correctly, the blonde girl with blue ombre hair was a part of the group Street 3 along with Miyoung. There's also Jackson Wang, one of Namjoon's friends, Mark Tuan, and Im Jaebum. The boys stand behind Miyoung, each with a silly expression on his face.

"JYP went on a company trip to a jjimjilbang near the Han river last night," Jungkook fills in the silence as Yoongi studies the photo with an expression that reveals nothing, "and the Got7 boys featured Miyoung and Park Nami in their video broadcast."

"I guessed from the title of the video," Yoongi's lips quirk up into a small smile as he points to the caption "Got7 and Street 3 at JYP's company trip to the jjimjilbang!"

"Ah- sorry hyung," Jungkook half-coughs, half-laughs in embarrassment, "I wasn't sure if you read the title or not since you were a bit busy...you know, staring at Miyoung."

Now it's time for Yoongi to cough as he chokes on a sip of his water from the water bottle he just opened- and he can only splutter and cough for a few moments as Jungkook pats his back in a panicked attempt to help him.

"Yah," Yoongi glares at Jungkook weakly once his throat has calmed down, "don't go saying stuff like that out loud."

"But it's true!" Jungkook huffs exasperatedly.

"You should've seen your own expression hyung, you either looked like you were going to steal my phone or break it."

"I just got a bit caught up..." Yoongi struggles to defend himself, but fails miserably.

"Anyways," the older boy clears his throat, "Jungkook, why did you want to show me this anyways? Last time I checked, you never even used V app except to make our own Bangtan Broadcasts."
