Sky ran to the bathroom. Right after class the young boy jolted to the bathroom. He wasn't just afraid- he got glue all over his clothes from the art project today. He sighed, looking at the blotch of glue that stuck out a lot.  "More bullying for me." He sighed, looking up into the mirror. He hopped that Squid didn't have his lunch- he didn't want Squid to get the bullying he did. Often at lunch it was very bad; and sometimes painful.

He sighed as he looked into the mirror. His hair swept over his yellow eyes ever so slightly- like screaming; "Look at these eyes!"

Sky shook his head, trying to get his hair into his eyes more. When that didn't work- he sighed and muttered- "Maybe I'll grow out my hair instead of cut it short again." He shrugged once more before sliding out of the bathroom- and walking to the cafeteria.

The cafeteria isn't that bad. There are at least 30 long, wood tables with okay seats. Everyone needs to bring food from home- since our village cannot provide extra food. Everyone is kinda separated though- the kings and queens of the school, the normals, and then the others.

Sky was pretty sure he was an other.

He sat down at a table that didn't have really anyone at it. Only about three people sat there, eating at the end of the table. The golden-eyed boy sat at the other end, and grabbed his lunch out of the bag that hung by his side. Opening the bag that held his food, an apple came out with a ham and turkey sandwich- with two cookies. Cookies! No way!  Sky thought, happiness flooding his eyes. This was rare- Dad never baked cookies anymore.

So why is he now? But who cares- I got cookies! Sky silently cheered, picking up one of the cookies. Chocolate Chip. Yum. He enjoyed the juicy bite, swallowing it in pure happiness as he did so.

So far- this day wasn't half bad besides first classes.

Squid scanned the room for Sky. He wanted to eat with him, and talk to him. Sky was nice, funny, and definitely a good person. Not a demon- or devil. Thats for sure.

"Hey Squid- c'mon! Come sit with me and my friends." Tempest called from a little ways off, already slowly walking to a table closer to the door. "O-Oh okay! Uh, but, do you see Sky anywhere?" Squid ran up to catch up to him, asking politely. "Well he usually sits in that area-" Tempest pointed to the righthand side of the room, where less people where and more clustered groups of friends chatted instead of filled up tables.

"But why do you care so much? Leave him be- he's been fine alone. Really." Tempest moaned, rolling his eyes. Squid had already explained Skys' and his met up this morning, and explained how he wanted to meet the boy more and become good friends with him.

Tempest just shook his head to that and said- "Thats not possible."

Squid honestly didn't care.

"Well I'm going to look for him- I'll be back soon!" Squid smiled at Tempest, then ducked away from the blond-haired boy. Squid laughed in his mind, thinking about Tempest's expression. He should be wondered about now.

Soon he spotted his friend from this morning- eating a cookie. Squid smiled, and walked up too the eating, brown-haired boy. "Aye! Sky!" He laughed as he sat down right in front of him, earning a small squeak of surprise from the small boy. "O-Oh, hi Squid!" He smiled, then took a bit of his cookie.

"Hows' your lunch?" Squid asked, gesturing to the cookie with one of his hands while pulling out his own food. Sky laughed, covering his mouth with one of his hands so cookie doesn't fall out. "Yummy! Want one? I have two." Sky smiled, picking up one of the cookies.

Squid shook his head no. "Those must be some good cookies- 'cause your enjoying them! Keep it, 'kay?" Sky shook his head right back. "I know its a good cookie- and a good person deseverse a good cookie!" He thrusted the cookie towards Squid, smiling happily.

Squid finally nodded. He did want the cookie- it did look good.

Taking the cookie, he bit into it slowly. "Mmmm~ Are your sure you didn't want this?" Squid teased, closing his eyes. Sky laughed. "I'm sure! I wanted to give it to my friend."

Squid's smile grew wider. I'm his friend- and that just needs to stay that way for a long while.

Until everything changes.

But it did.

Not like the two boys wanted it to though.
