Six years have passed- and both boys have changed. Sky has become a well-known "Burner Hunter," or someone who hunts down Burners- fight them off, and save villages. He is known as "Yellow Eyes," due to his brightly colored yellow eyes.

Squid has become a leader of the Burner group that took out his village years ago. He's now 18 years old with a strong idea in how things should work with his Burner group. His Burner group is now one of the most well-known and feared.

Sky is 16- two years younger than Squid and shorter than the older man. He has grown out his brown hair- into a curly ponytail and tan skin from all the sun. Unlike Squid- Sky isn't has talented with leadership, battling, and Sky is pretty much a loner.

Sky only has two living things traveling with him- Squid's old dog named Usher  and a horse that's so stubborn and bratty that Sky got her for less than he should of. The horses name is Dilly- a short, ugly black horse. She has huge ears- and a strong kick. But Sky doesn't care- that's his team.

So we start off this story with Sky- walking through a forest- a dog scouting the way in front of him, and pulling a horse along. Sky was looking for any signs of a path to a village- he needed food, more water, and he would like to restock back on his clothes- since he's outgrown half of them.

"Hey Dilly. Easy girl. It's just another forest- okay? Once we find a stream you can go play around with the water- okay?" Sky calmed the frisky horse, rubbing her face gently, and then leading her forward.

He had found out that Dilly loves water by- simply- her bucking him off to get to a pond that Sky didn't want to go to. Sky was so pissed- but laughed it off after he saw how happy the horse was.

Sky sighed. He was getting tired himself- and a little spooked of the forest that surrounded him and his animals. Usher at one point jumped back to Sky's side, staying loyal to the boy he saved from death.

Sky was still haunted by those memories, and was now looking for Squid, his old best friend, and won't stop until he finds the blue-haired boy.

Soon after walking through thick grass, a couple of dirty puddles, and ducking under limbs of trees, they found a small pond. Sky sighed, a little smile  forming on his lips. If there's a pond- somewhere close is a village. That's worth it.

Sky allowed Dilly to trot into the water for her fun- after he took off his dirty, worn-in saddle and pads. He smiled as he sat down, the grass feeling good on his hands. He could hear Usher and Dilly splash in the water- and he trusted them to be safe while doing so.

The yellow-eyed boy looked up at the sky. He watched as clouds covered the sun, made weird shapes and how the color of the sky changed to clear blue to a hue blue if you where looking the right way. The teenager smiled. He was happy, he had a set goal so far, and he could relax on his own like this. Not to bad.

Sky layed his head in the grass, closing his eyes for just a second. Mistake- when he found out how tired we was from last night. Usher was bouncing around- scaring Dilly until the sun was almost up.

The fought back sleep- only to be taken from the fight and into a darkness of soothing dreams.

   "Hey? You alive?"

A voice snapped the sleeping boy out of his sleep- opening his yellow eyes slowly and yawning. Instantly, he meet face-to-face with a boy his age. This boy had paler skin, weird, red eyes and brown hair that covered his right eye and barely his left. The boy had a white shirt on- a black rim surrounding the neck area and dipping down into a design when the two sides meet. He could see a purple earring on the boys left ear- matching purple bracelets that covered his arms.

"Uh, h-hi?" Sky said, blinking a few times. The boy was lost for words though, his eyes wide and open. He looked dumbstruck, but not in the good way. Sky asked him again if he was okay, but all he did was back away. "Y-Your Yellow-E-Eyes. . ." The boy shook, stepping away from Sky fully.

Now Sky could see the rest of the clothing of the kid- who wore long black pants with small stains dotting them- and the shirt was also stained with different colors. He wore brown leather boots- laced up.

"P-Please don't hurt me!" The boy finally squeaked out, backing up until he tripped over his own two feet. Sky got up- running over to the boy on the ground. "Here lemme help you, why would I hurt you. . .?"

Sky offered the boy his hand in pulling him up- but the boy shook his head. "B-Because your a Burner-Hunter! I'm a Burner's son, and don't you kill the Burners too. . .?" He trailed off, looking up at the yellow-eyed teen.

Sky shook his head. "I-I don't kill! Hell- I can't even hold a sword without being scared of stabbing my own foot. No, I don't kill people. My name's Sky, short for Skylar. How about you?" He asked, trying to make the teen less tense.

The teen shook his head, then replied slowly. "Tyler. But you can call me Ty- I guess. Sorry about accusing you of killing and stuff. . ." Ty trailed off, looking away. Sky smiled, showing his hand again to help Ty off the ground. "It's fine Ty! Hey, is there a village around here? I need new supplies and to rest up- Hey! Where's my animals?"

Ty laughed. "Your animals found their way to the village. They left you. It was so funny- I took them into the nearest stable and went out looking for the owner. I guess I found them! Yeah- the village is right around the pond. But you can't go in! Your eyes will be a dead-give away!"

Sky tilted his head a bit. "My eyes. . .? Why's that?"

Ty shook his head, then waved his hands in the air. "Your a Burner-Hunter. Yellow-Eyes are what people are calling you. You have yellow eyes. If you want something from the village, we'll need to cover up those eyes-"

"Ty! Why would people not be able to see my eyes? It's not a village full of burners- is it?"

Ty nodded. "It is. And you wanna know what the best part is? Well- all of them hate your guts!"

Sky sighed. Great. He thought to himself- shaking his head. Just great. I'll have to go through tons of people wondering what my eyes look like- and they might find out their yellow; what would they do if they did?

Ty must of seen Sky thinking about the matter, and patted the taller boys' back. "Hey- now I'm comforting you! Anyways, they won't find out. And plus- if the do, they'll have to go through me to get to you!" He laughed sheepishly. A small blush formed across his face and then shook his head. "That sounded stupid oh my Notch."

Sky shook his head and laughed. "No it didn't! And now I have a bodyguard- all I need is a identity. What could cover up my eyes?" He asked Ty, who was deep in thought. Ty perked up, running over to a bag dropped on the ground from before. He dug around in the brown, worn bag before pulling out a black pair of- glasses?

"Ty? What are you-?!" He was cut off by Ty running over to Sky- and pushing the glasses onto Sky's face. Sky widened his eyes in surprise, but then sighed. "Sunglasses? Really?"

Ty nodded, a grin on his face. "Yeah! Hey- it's better than a eyepatch. Trust me, I have a friend in a couple towns over that has a eyepatch and he hates the thing!" He laughed, picking up the bag from the ground and swinging it over his shoulder.

"Now let's go. I can help you grab your horses saddle and shit. The town is a hour-away walk to we can take turns holding it. C'mon sunglasses-dork. Let's get this show on the road!"
