Sophie's POV

"I don't wanna wedding! It's to expensive and takes to long. Let's just go to the courthouse and spend 10 bucks. We can have a reception or something later." I begged.
"Whatever you want babe." He sighed.
"Good. Let's go now."
"Alright. Let's run by the DX first. I gotta ask Steve to be our witness." He stood up.
"Yay!!"
"I love you."
"I love you too."

We got in our truck and left.

"I'll be right back." He said and went in the DX.

Sodapop's POV

"Hey I need a favor." I told him.
"What?"
"Me and Sophie are going to the courthouse to get married. Will be our witness?"
"Of course! I'm on break now."
"And...I need 10 bucks..." I scratched the back of my neck.
"Really Soda? You can't even pay for your own marriage certificate?"
"I'm getting paid tomorrow."
"Fine." He pulled out his wallet and gave me ten dollars.
"Thanks pal."
"Mmhmm. You just use me."

We pulled up to the courthouse.
"We're her to get married. I have all the paperwork our guardians signed giving us permission." I told the secretary.
"Lucky for you guys he's not busy today. Go right on in." She smiled.
"Thanks." We knocked on the judges door.
"Come in."

"I'm Sodapop Curtis. I'm here to get married."
"You two look a little young." He said.
"Here's our permission forms." I handed them to him.
"Alright." He pulled out some papers.
"You sign here and your bride sign here." He said. We signed.
"And your witness here." Steve signed.
"Alright you may now kiss your bride." I smiled and kiss her.
"That'll be ten dollars." He said. I gave him the money. I patted Steve on the back.

We got in the truck and I pulled out.
"Best 10 bucks I ever borrowed." I laughed.
"You borrowed the money?!" Sophie yelled. I laughed.
"I can't believe you! That's awful."
"I'll pay him back." I said.
"Who?"
"Steve"
"I'm sorry you're best friends a bum Steve."
"It's alright. All my friends are bums." He joked.

"Chill out babe. You'll forget about it tonight." I smirked.
"Oh yeah?" You might not get any." She smirked.
"What?! I paid 10 bucks for it!" I joked.
"No you borrowed ten bucks."
"So technically me and her are married till you pay me back." Steve chimed in.
"Guess you're going home with Steve tonight." I looked at her.
"You two are horrible."
"You know you love me."
"You're an idiot."
"But I'm you're idiot."
"Yeah. I love my idiot."
