Alessia's POV

Hey! I'm Alessia. I love art and soccer. I have brown and light brown hair. And Johnny's my wanna-be-bae.

I'm in Ponyboy's class. Sometimes I see Johnny with Pony at school or if I hang out with Pony he comes. He's really sweet and cute. He'd be the perfect boyfriend. But he doesn't notice me. I've tried everything except tattooing his name on my face.

Pony wants to hang out tonight so I'm getting ready. I put on my dark blue skinny jeans, white shirt, and converse. I put my hair in a bun and tied a white bandana around my head.

I met Ponyboy at the lot.
"Where's Johnny?" I ask.
"I don't know. But I gotta a surprise for ya. Come on." He starts walking and I follow him.

"Where are we?" I ask.
"Down town."
"That's specfic. Tulsa is huge!"
"We're going to a park. I nice park."
"A Soc park?"
"No. A middle class park."
"Why?"
"To swing duh."

When we get to the park it's dark. It's really foggy and I can barely see. I see Christmas light in the distance. I can hear crickets chirping and the sound of a water flowing.

"This is a nice park." I looked around in awe.
"Told ya so."
"I don't see any swings."
"Just keep walking."

We walk towards the lights. As we get closer I can tell it's a gazebo. It's decorated really pretty.

"Go stand under it." Pony commands me.
"Why? Are you kidnapping me?" I joked.
"Oh my God. Just be cooperative and go stand under it." He huffs.
"Fine cranky butt." I go stand in the middle.

I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around and see Johnny. He dressed in a suit.
"Johnny?"
"Surprised?"
"Yeah. What are you doing?" I ask.
"I've never done this before so I figured I'd go all out." He said.
"Done what?"
"Ask someone to be girlfriend."
"Johnny are you?"
"Yes. Will you be my girl?" He ask me. I nod and smile. I start to tear up.

Music starts playing. It's I can't help falling in love with you by Elvis.
"Can I have this dance?"
"Yes you can." I take his hand and we dance.

The next day I hang out at the Curtis house with Ponyboy and Johnny.
"I did good last night huh?" Pony says.
"You did good?" I guestioned.
"Yeah. It was my idea. I decorated." I look at Johnny.
"I picked out the place and girl. Pony did the rest." He admitted.
"Geez Pony. What a friend you are. Ratting your friend out." I joke.
"Yeah Pony. You're a crappy friend." Johnny joked.
"I'm gonna go cry now." Pony fake cries.
"Aw come on man. I'm just kidding." Johnny hugs him.
"I'm not." I chuckle.
"Last time I set you up with a guy." Pony says.
"Oh yeah thanks for that." I tell him.

Me and Johnny are going out tonight. I put on a black skirt and red shirt with red flats. Johnny comes to my house and gets me.

"You look pretty." He compliments me.
"Thanks."
We walk to Steak 'n' Shake.
"I love this place." I tell him.
"Me too."

"I want an original steak burger with cheese fries and I chocolate shake." I order.
"I want the same with a strawberry shake" Johnny orders.

Our food comes and we eat.
"Can you tie a cherry stem?" I ask.
"Yeah can you?"
"Mmhmm. Wanna race?"
"Sure. Ready, set, go!" We put the stems in our mouth. I stuck my tongue to show him I'm done.
"Haha I win."
"I'm still a better kisser." He smirks.
"Mmmm doubt it."
"I small prove it."
"Then prove it." He leans over the table and kisses me.

"So??"
"I think it's a tie." I say.
"Yeah I'll go with that." He smiles.

He pays and walks me home.
"I had fun tonight." I tell him.
"Me too. Again this friday?"
"Yeah." I blush. He leans in and kisses me.

"I love you." He says.
"I love you too."

Ponyboy is the bestest friend ever!!!
