You're a soc. Your Father has told you a million times not to be hanging around with those hoods....but Sodapop is your best friend. One day after school you decide to go visit Soda and Steve at the DX. Steve has always had a huge crush on you.
"Hey pretty lady." Steve winked.
"Hi Steve."
"Hey y/n. How's it goin?" Soda asked.
"Good. How's Pony doing?" You asked. Steve groaned.
"Your dream boyfriend is fine.....and right behind you." Soda smirked. You turned around your cheeks bright red.
"H-hi P-Ponyboy." You stuttered twirling your hair with you fingers nervously.
"Hey y/n. So...do you really like me?" He asked. You could tell he was nervous.
"Yeah. I always have." You said with your hands behind you back with your head down. He lifted your head up so you'd look him in the eyes.
"I've always liked you to." He smiled.
"Really?!" You asked getting excited.
"Well yeah. Do you wanna go out sometime?"
"Yeah! I'd love to!"
"Great! How bout Friday after school?"
"Yeah. That's sounds great but I gotta get goin. See ya tomorrow at school."
"Yeah see ya then."
"Just my luck. The kid stole my girl." Steve complained.
"She was never your girl Steve. She's always been Pony's." Soda said patting Steve's back.
"I guess your right." Steve muttered. You smiled.
"Bye guys." You said.
"Bye." They all said. Pony stopped you and kissed your cheek.
"Bye love."
"Bye Pony." You walked home smiling like an idiot.
