"So I need you to make teams of four, I'm gonna assign you a topic, you'll research about it and you'll present it to the class", Mr. Martinez said.
"Kat, let's make this shit together. Only the two of us", Sonny whispered.
"Okay", I said."So who wants to be first?" Mr. Martinez asked. Sonny raised his hand. "Okay, Moore. You go first. Tell me who's in your team."
"Kat Smith", Sonny said.
"Okay. Who else?"
"That's it."
Mr. Martinez shrugged. "All right. Less people, more work, but well, go ahead."
"My previous teammates did nothing so why would I want them anyway? I'd end up doing everything", Sonny whispered to me.
"Why are you so sure I'm not gonna do the same thing?"
"Because you're Kat, duh. You always do homework and get straight As."I sketched a smile.
"I need one person per team to come and take a piece of paper from this box", Mr. Martinez said. 8 people, including Sonny, went to the front.
"Berlin Wall", Sonny whispered, making emphasis on each word, giving me the piece of paper and sitting down.
Berlin Wall. It's an interesting topic. I've read about it for fun. It will be easy.
I put the paper inside my pencil case.
"Let's go to my house after class and start working on this", Sonny said.
"Good, I don't know how to get there", I replied.
"It's a few blocks from here, but yeah, you get lost very easily."

"Freedom!" I said, running out of the school.
"Hey, wait for me!", Sonny yelled, running behind me. Then he suddenly put his hands on my shoulders and jumped. He put his legs around my waist and I gave him a piggy back ride.We reached a Seven Eleven.
"Lemme buy some coffee", Sonny said. "Do you want something?"
"Iced tea", I replied. I stood next to the door as he got his coffee and my tea."How much was it?" I asked.
He laughed.
"Who cares?" he said, drinking his coffee.
"I do. I just wanna give you the money you spent on it."
"Don't even try", he said. Soon we stopped in front of a huge yellow house. "Here we are."
