It was 2004. My freshman year. I was alone at home, I couldn't sleep. I used to watch infommercials whenever I couldn't sleep, so I took the remote control from my nightstand and I sat on the edge of my bed. An infommercial about a triangular mop that didn't require more than a little bit of hot water in order to leave all your house so fucking clean appeared. I looked at my room's floor and I thought I should clean it one of these days and the image disappeared, the television turned off and then on again... It happened sometimes. It wasn't kinda frequent, or maybe it was but I hadn't noticed it because I don't watch TV unless I'm extremely bored... my TV is more like a place to put my umbrella and my makeup because if I put them in my closet I forget about them.

What the fuck? Sonny singing? Wasn't he gonna play guitar? I suppose that other guy singing must be either Matt or Travis. Why am I watching this? Why should I care?

And I turned it off again. I walked to the kitchen, grabbed a granola bar and some orange juice as I tried to clear my mind. I must go to sleep. My biology exam is tomorrow.

I came back to bed. I looked at the ceiling like an hour before closing my eyes and listening to a piano...

I woke up. I turned around to see the clock. There was someone lying next to me, covered by some blankets. I moved the blankets and I saw some brown hair. What the fuck?

I got up, walked towards the other side of the bed, and quickly removed the blankets, and there he was.

Sonny. Shirtless. Covered in dry blood. Motionless. Without eyes. Cold. The formerly white sheets were crimson now.

I started looking for my phone. On my nightstand. My purse. My backpack. My closet. The living room. The kitchen.

Call 911 now!
