Chapter 7

Leafon was running so fast it took Nothing more than a couple of minutes, to reach the other end of the forest. I didn't see much of the forest since every time I tried too look around, I almost fell of Leafon. "We're here m'lady" he sat down, letting me slide of his back. I looked around seeing the new scenery and, once again I was stunned. There was a giant castle maybe a half hour walk away. There was some islands floating in the air, and you could just see the outlines of some sheep? Jumping from island too island. There where also the knights running in gallop towards us.

"Wait why are they running towards us?" Looking at the giant wolf who was shrinking back to a puppy. "Oh they probably thought I was dangerous or something, so I'll just leave now" he jumped back into the bushes. Leaving me too explain. "You there! Where did that wolf go?!" He sounded angry, and his harsh tone startled me, making me take a step back, "George! There's no need for that harsh tone, I'm terribly sorry about him" the leader of the knights stepped in front of George and looked down at me, giving me a charming smile. 'Wait... That couldn't be him?' "Will?".

"I'm sorry but have west before?, you see there is only a few people who calls me that, and those people would happen too be the king and queen and a good friend of mine" he explained looking me in the eyes, he was trying too remember me that was clear, I should help him out... "You're forgetting one more person" "yes but that person is... Melissa?!" He almost fell of his horse, making me giggle, "in the magic" he jumped down and took my hands, looking at me closer, "my god... It is you" he took me in a tight hug, "Aris is going too be so happy" he lifted me up and spinned me around.

The other soldiers where looking at us, like their prince was crazy and I might have cursed him. "But sadly I just found out that I'm not only here too meet you guys again" "what do you mean?" "Well apparently there is a witch named Coralina, who is trying too take over Elloris" "well I guess that you're right, we do need help on that problem, and who better than you? We will take you too the castle, you should talk with the king about this" the soldier from before said "but my prince! The beast, we still need too hunt it!" "George was it? This beast means no harm, so you can leave him alone" "who are you too command a knight of the Kings order!" Lifting the necklace letting it shine, "I'm the guardian, and an old friend of prince William."

After stating the obvious I was riding with them, back too the castle. I was sitting behind William, 'I can't believe that I'm back, and that Will actually could remember me... Kinda.' When we finally arived at the castle gates they were huge and the doors where creaking as they slowly opened, "wow" I breathed looking at the marvelous sight, I had completely forgotten how awesome everything was in this world. "Close your mouth Melissa, or you'll catch flies" Will laughed at me, "you have been here before" "yes, but it has been 3 years, I guess, that I just forgot how it looked like" giving him a smile I looked around and let the sight, sounds and smell refresh my memory.

There was shops on both sides of the street and people running around, doing their daily routines. I also noticed the people staring at me... I guess it is, a bit weird too see the prince with a stranger on the back of his horse. "My prince what brings you back this early?" One of the guards at the front door into the castle it self. "A problem has a cured, I need too discuss this with the king and queen immediately" "and the girl?" The guard asked looking at me, and stopped me from entering any further. "She is with me, and she shall have permission too go where ever she wants in this castle. Understood soldier?" "Of course, my prince, I shall let the other servants know immediately." The soldier hurried along too send the message on.

"Aren't you a royal prick" I joked poking him in the side, "what do you mean??" He asked confused and gave me a smile, "you just seem really up tight" "well I have too be, I am the future king, I have too learn how to command the soldiers and knights" "and your doing a good job" a second female voice said as she entered the room. She had black hair and forest green eyes, "Melissa?!" She stopped in her tracks and stared at me, a hopeful smile growing, "wow you remembered me!" I laughed, we both squealed and gave each other a hug, "let me guess Will didn't remember you?" She asked looking at William shaking her head, "what! I totally remembered her" "yeah after I said my name" we all laughed, Will still had a terrible memory. "Melissa what brings you back here?" Aris asked, I'm back because I missed you guys... And I had this vision that the world was being destroyed by Coralina" "well those are good reasons, so that's also the reason you and William are requesting an audience with the king and queen?" "Yes, since Melissa is here, and that she is now the guardian we might have the upper hand in this war" Will answered for me.

"The king and Queen are ready for you now, my prince" a servant said, as we walked over too her I noticed how she was looking at me. She was bowing but still I managed too see the sharp glare, that she directed towards William. "William! You requested an audience with us?" Will's father, the king's voice boomed through the large throne room.

"Father, I asked for a private -" the king made a hand gesture, and every soldier, maid or any other person in the room left immediately. After only Aris, me, Will and the king and queen whet left in the room, Will cleared his throat, "father, mother... You both remember Melissa Moon right?" As he said the he took an arm towards me, silently telling me that I should step forward. As I stood beside William, they both smiled and said at the same time, "of course we do" "it is lovely too see you back in our beautiful Elloris, the kingdom hasn't been the same without you" her majesty said, with her beautiful sweet voice, "thank you my queen" I bowed, she simply returned with a smile. "Melissa you should tell them why you're back" William whispered, "my king. I have returned too this kingdom, in realization that it had been years since I last saw your kingdom and the friends I have made here... But there is also another reason, I had a dream or a vision, warning me of a new and great danger threatening Elloris, her name was Coralina, and as the new guardian, it is my responsibility to help protect this and all the other worlds" while I was talking the king was thinking of a new battle plan, realizing that they had a upper hand in this war.

"My love?" The king looked at his beloved wife and she nodded knowing what he meant, the queen used her magic and made a 3D map of Elloris, it showed everything right from the mountains, too the green fields. 'What?!' Pointing at the west side of the country, "what's that?" It used too be just green hills and flower fields, it's also the most common place for unicorns too grass and play, or raise their foals, but on this map. Instead of looking magical, it looked like a desert with black and burnt sand, the place was just screaming death and horror.
"That is the area Coralina has taken over, and the area is only growing the more powerful she gets."
