"There's no sign of Dimitri, nor Marcus, Sirree."

"Find them! Let no one sleep a wink until they're found." He directed, sinking about to his chair. Then remember he still held had two hostages that held the key to his son location.

"Bring them in." he snapped his fingers commanding with authority. Once they were in, no one dared to move. The poor guardians still feared were still frighten of him as before.

He smirked. Good, that outta lured into speaking the truth.

The guards gave them an extra push and locked the door behind them, leaving the two couple with the man that demanded the truth and nothing but the truth.

"Now I won't ask you again." Antonio flipped the chair up front and sat opposite way as one sat on a chair. It was all part of the act. The more they fear, the easier it will before him to get what he wanted.

"Where. Is. My. Son." he gritted and shot them yet another deadly glare.

The woman wept and cried out to the stars. She wished to know why they've cursed them. Why her son and this man son were not in their birthplace.

Oh my, oh my! What did we to do deserve this?

"Sir... My son, Marcus Roberto Fallani, has worked for you for many years. Not once has he ever showed any signs of dishonesty. Why would he do such a thing? Why now? Why would he risk breaking your trust?"

"I.. we.. know our son very well. Marcus is driven by many things however he is certainly not driven by greed but of loyalty." added the spouse.

"Something is missing." Troy Sternberg flung open the balcony door that encircled around their living and faced the sky, while Brett stood there as he brainstorms to figure out what has gone wrong.

He halted, crossed his arms and admired the atmosphere. Whoever's behind this creation deserves infinite glory.

"Well besides the fact that I am still searching for the woman in my dreams." he breathes in the cool air and sighed, "don't you think so?"

Brett shook his head, unable to say an accurate answer.

"Maybe I need something to care for.." Mr. Sternberg smiled weakly.

Do not you dare give up her, my friend. She's a good woman. Stubborn but good. Brett thought of how it was a bit of a challenge for him to Monica's heart. And now that he has grasped bits of it 'her loving heart' he vowed to never let it go.

Because there's something unique about those two women. They knew how to shake up a man's world and make 'em what to do nothing else but good on this scheme full world.

"A pet, perhaps!" Troy held his hand up in the air as if he sudden gotten a brilliant idea. "Plus women adore a man that cares for another life other than his kind. Right?"

"I'm sure they do," Brett replied hoping that this idea will bring some sort of happiness to his friend.

He still couldn't believe that he was able to find a companion before the one was more determined to find it. Clearly, the universe was

"Good, because I'm going to buy one," says Troy as he searched for his keys.

"Buy what?" asked Brett.

"A pet," Troy responded with confidence.

Oh goodness. brett sighed.

"Kim, I think its time that you take that lace weave off you had it for months," says Monica as she dries her God-given hair. Long kinky hair that hangs around her shoulder.

As of Kimberley, she was still a natural babe with similar textures as of Monica's.

But Kimberly merely favored having her hair pressed down or blow dried every now and then. Which resulted in her curl pattern to become a little looser yet defined over time.

"Two months is not so bad." Kim typed away on her laptop and tried to her cousin. "With my busy schedule, I don't how I don't hit a year with the same weave."

Monica took her cousin phone and emailed their hairstylist. "Because I always step in to set up your appointments."

"You're the real MVP!" Kimberly called out.

"Yeah, Yeah," replied Monica as she resumed to finish her hair. Just before she plugged in the hair dryer she suddenly remembers what Brett told her earlier.

"Oh Brett and Troy are coming this week." she announced.

For the time Kimberly eyes finally left her electric device and looked at her cousin.

"I get why Brett's coming. He is your boo and all. But..." her brows twitched together trying to make sense of the news and frowns. "Why Troy?"

"Why not Troy?" Monica mimicked her tone. Sometimes she didn't understand her own flesh and blood.

Why wouldn't she give him a chance?

Troy Sternberg was not a terrible man. From what she had seen, she believes that he had a kind heart. With God's anointing, that kind of heart was capable of melting the frozen heart of her dear cousin, Kimberly, who keeps on rejecting the love that her soul ached for.

It was obvious that he was interested in her. And as much as Kim didn't want to admit it.

Monica knew too well that Kim had a soft spot made just for Troy Sternberg in her stubborn, not so warm little heart.
