I woke up to the sound of a subtle whimper behind me.
What the- Oh wait, everyone decided that (Y/n) and I would share one of the hotel beds....
I was about to go back to sleep when I heard another, more audible whimper. I rolled over to see the (h/c) haired girl curled up in a tight ball, tears forming in the corners of her closed eyes. She must be having a nightmare. When I heard yet another whimper I melted. I hated seeing her sad, let alone in pain. I am supposed to be a cold hearted assasin but, what can I say, she is to charming, sweet, not to mention adorable, and I even love how cunning she can be.
What do I do? Wake her up? She hasn't been sleeping much lately though...
I decided to scoot closer to (Y/n). I then draped my arm over her waist and pulled her close to me. When she whimpered again tears started to spill out of her eyes. I started to stroke her hair, trying to soothe her. I didn't want to have to wake her up, she needed sleep. I knew she had been up most of last night, even the night before. I felt her body start to relax in my arms, and she stopped whimpering.
(Y/n), what made you so scared? What could possibly frighten my strong, nen user, (Y/n)? After those thoughts I started to drift off to sleep, but not before I felt the form in front of me snuggle closer to my chest and mumble, "Don't leave me, Kil." In her sleep. Just what were those nightmares about?

Time slip brought too you by: The ever innocent, Gon!

I was woken up again, this time from the whispers of my companions, Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio.
"They're so cute!" I recognized the voice to be Gon's.
"Be quite, or you might wake then up!" This time it seemed to be Kurapika.
"Lucky brat." Definitely Leorio.
"Oh hush will ya! I don't want you guys to wake (Y/n) up! Go back to sleep!" I whisper yelled at the three hovering over the bed. After that I heard a soft groan coming from (Y/n).
"Just five more minutes...." She grumbled. I gave the trio a death glare and they backed right off. I felt (Y/n)'s face nuzzled up against my neck as she started to get comfortable again. I rested my chin on the top of her head. Lowering my voice to what I thought an inaudible mumble, I whispered, "Love you, (Y/n)."
I was so surprised to hear a groggy response come from the person cuddling up to me. "Love you too, Killua."
