Killua's POV
I watched, wide eyed, as (Y/n) walked out of hotel room, anger written all over her face. Gon had a death grip on the pillow he was hugging, his face baried in the white fabric of the pillow case.
I wondered why (Y/n) was so upset... it wasn't like her to get mad at us. I don't think I have ever heard her raise her voice like that either.
I mean yeah, we would annoy the hell out of her sometimes, but that's what friends do, right? I plopped down on the bed next to Gon, face first, and the room turned utterly silence. We sat there for a few minutes, Gon still with his face in the pillow, and I had my feet touching the floor with my face against the hard mattress.
We sat like that for a while, but then I heard soft sobs coming from the hallway. Could it be.... (Y/n)?
I pushed my self off of the bed and went to the door. I pulled it open slightly to see a (h/c) haired girl curled up right next to the white painted door. Her arms wrapped around her knees and head down.
I honestly didn't know what to do. Gon would do so much better in this situation, but I think he may have fallen asleep with his head stuffed in the pillow.
Without really thinking, I got on the floor beside her and wrapped my arms around her sobbing figure.
"Baka. Why are you crying?"
She lifted her head at my words, and I took the opportunity to use my thumb to wipe away the fresh tear rolling down her cheek.
"Y/n... What's wrong?" I asked again. She didn't reply, instead she just wrapped her arms around me and cried into my shoulder. I didn't push her away, or stop her. I just gently picked her up and walked back into the room. Holding her in one arm, I pulled back the covers on the other bed, and laid her down on the white cotton sheets. As I went to the bed Gon was sleeping on (he was indeed asleep, and drooling) (Y/n) grabbed the hem of my shirt. She didn't say anything, but I knew what she meant. I turned back around and untangled her soft fingers from my shirt, and then I climbed under the covers. I reached over and grabbed her hand, I knew exactly why (Y/n) was crying now. I had scared her back there, and yet she was coming to me to feel safe after that happened.
I stared to hear her breathing even out, and it was only then I let myself drift off to sleep. I was still aware of what was going on around my though. I couldn't help but smile when she turned over and snuggled up against me, her fingers gripped on the neck line of my shirt.
