*Side Chapter 1 - Dominic and William*

[A/N: You know how in Doctor Who, they have those mini episodes like 'Pond Life' or 'The Doctor's Meditation' where it's just small parts of the series yet it's somehow connected to story in some way or form. This is what these side chapters are about. Feel free to either read or ignore them!]

"Dom wait!" Matt yelled but he left and all they can do is listen in a near distance yet doing work

"Um... Da-... Mr Howard, sir" Dom said.

His father, William looked and saw Dom but he didn't recognise his son and thought he was just another crew member.

"Another one! I told you fellows that I don't need comfort!" William yelled.

"Mr Howard... sir, you need to calm down!" Dom replied as the band begins to pay their first song. "Here, drink this".

Dom gave his father a glass of water and soon, William was in a calm mood. William gave a strange look to Dominic as he thinks he looks familiar.

"Do I know you?" William asked.

"If I tell you, you won't believe me" Dom said. "But since you asked... Mr Howard, William... I'm your son".

William is in both shock and confusion as he can see his current son performing on the drums and another beside him. William played around with Dom's face to see if it's legit and obviously, it was. William wanted to give Dom a hug but didn't as he told William he was going undercover and he doesn't have much time left.

"How long are you going to stay?" William asked.

"Until Muse stops playing and walks back" Dom responded.

"So tell me, how far from the future are you and how did you get here?" William asked.

"I'm from 2015, so 11 years I guess and me traveling here... let's just say I'm the angel from the future".

The two Howards started to talk for a bit. Conversing about how 2004 is very different to 2015 and the advances of technology and how their music evolved from experimental to MIDI instrumentals to heavy tracks. Then Matt and Chris took Dom away to give him a warning or their general concern.

"Matt, you're crazy!" Dom said to them. "I know my father and i'm pretty sure this message won't kill him".

"I know but I just you to be aware and that you won't regret what happens next" Matt said.

"Calm down you Time Lord!" Dom responded. "Everything is going to be fine! I know my father and i'm pretty sure whatever happens now won't end his life".

The two left as they went back to work. William and Dom continued on their conversation like Dom was able to reconnect with his father after a long time of absence. The two actually bonded and when William was in pain, Dom aided with some medication from the future and so on. That's how William managed to stay healthy during the entire gig. The two cracked some jokes and such but then the last song was about to play. Dom needed to tell his father his secret. The secret that he hasn't told anyone in a long time.

"Father... I need to tell you a secret. A secret that I've been keeping for a while and it's something that your son on stage right now is still unaware of so far" Dom said.

Dom leaned towards his father's ear and whispered "I think I'm in love with my best friend".

William looked at Dom like he was from a different planet but then gave him a tight hug like he accepted who he was.

"So are you... gay?" William asked.

"I'm still confused right now since he's too busy to notice" Dom answered. "But it doesn't matter. If he's doing alright and happy, then so should I!"

Suddenly, the performance ended and William started to have a stroke. His time was up and Dom was trying his best to keep him alive

"Go! Don't worry, I won't tell your past self anything!" William said. "There is nothing you can do... let nature do it's course!"

William started to have chest pains and he was showing signs of a stroke. Dom tried to comfort and catch him but William insisted him to leave.

"Dom, you need to leave! Your past will see you any minute! You don't want to cause chaos do you?" William said. "Dom... I'm always proud of you!"

Dom took a glimpse of his past self walking back and somehow got eye contact of his past. He went back towards Matt and Chris just so they won't be detected. They left and there, nature did it's course.
