2 years later - Dom's P.O.V.

Muse has been disbanded 2 years ago in such an early time. I thought it would be gone when we all turn 60 but we're like in our 40's. I guess we can change time after all. We held a memorial to Matt's life in Devon, at the explosion site when he lost his parents and just said our final goodbyes. Explaining all of this to Tom was hard but he he got the main idea on what happened. The Time Lock was still active for some reason so no one was able to get rid or modify the land.

Matt's parents from the past visits Chris and I to see if we're ok, mostly to see me since they know what Matt means to me. They take me back to see baby Matt from time to time but only for a short time just so he doesn't get used to me.

Due to all that has happened, I've decided to tackle the music industry on my own as Chris decided to hang his bass up and spend more time with his family. Tom works for me as my tour manager like when Muse was still a thing but my attitude in life is now different. I'm no longer that goofball drummer that I used to be and I became a much more serious person. I haven't been in any relationships because I know it wouldn't feel the same.

It was the end of my tour in the O2 in the UK and I was returning to the dressing room when I spot someone inside.

"Who are you?" I asked.

The person turned around and he's wearing a mask and using a voice changer.

"Hello Dominic" the person said.

"How did you get in here?" I asked.

"Spoilers" the person said.

"That's it, I'm calling security" I said.

"I know where Matt is" the person said.

I froze as hearing his name again sent chills. Memories that I've been repressing have came back and my tears started to appear. I tried to stay strong thou as I can no longer linger to the past.

"Matt Bellamy... he's alive but it won't last long" the person said. "I can take you there. He asked me to bring you to him".

"Let the man rot" I said. "He left me... he doesn't need me. He just used me"

"Are you sure you want to say that?" the person asked.

"Why?! Why should I go back to the guy?! He didn't even say goodbye!" I yelled.

"Maybe because he knows you would be willing to stay if he told you why he didn't escape with you" the person said.

"The guy fought the war! It's obvious! A war which was unknown if he won or not!" I said.

"Matt sacrificed his life" the person said. "The war, they won but there was a cost".

"What did he do?" I asked.

"He was stripped from his Regenerations and forced to die through his final life as he was caught by the guards to help the Doctor in the war" the person said. "Matt is now dying".

"Take me to him" I said.

We are a planet which I think it was the Refugee Planet that Matt took Tom to back then. It was able to rebuild itself and I was sent to a private room in the hospital. There, lies Matt on his bed. I entered and Matt saw me entering the room and I was crying.

"Hey Dom" Matt said.

I ran and we kissed for a short time then I punched him.

"That was for leaving me without a good bye! How could you leave me?!" I asked.
