Chapter 10: Madness

[A/N: As a very special apology for the 4 month delay... I will post the next chapter now! Warning: Sexual stuff... but not too much! Next... by this point, I wanted to name it after a Katy Perry Song but I promised Muse songs so Muse songs it is!]

Chapter 10: Madness

I was in my room and my Tardis for a week, confused on who I am. I went to every doctor in all of the cosmos and nothing... they couldn't tell what was wrong with me. In my mind, I can still remember what that Cyberman said... that I was unknown. Why am I an unknown species? Both my parents are Galefreyan decent so that should make me a full time lord. Maybe it was something else? Maybe it's the fact that I act human but I'm living in a Time Lord's body... or maybe I'm a Time Lord trapped in a human body.

"I'm so confused!" I yelled as I threw Glitterati to the wall... Just like in the good old days.

I lay in bed and I looked at old photographs of my past life. Am I supposed to be a Time Lord? Why bother doing this when I can just continue living the life I was given. Why be in a war that was broke by another man.

I then came across a photograph of Dom and I as young teenagers, before Muse, before we even met Chris. I wanted to call him but he's already found somebody else to be with so there is no point. As time passed, I've decided to not travel and continue the human life just to clear things up. We continued our tours and gigs but I traveled using the Tardis rather than riding a plane. It turns out that Drones won best rock album in the Grammy's this year so that's a start and from there, I just became regular 'Matt Bellamy' and I have to admit... it's now becoming boring. During the Grammy's, you think me and Dom we're happy while Chris is somewhere private but in reality... it was very awkward. We just pulled off our best fake smiles for the press and from there, we just went our separate ways.

I was in the hotel room later that night, drinking wine that I bought and received as gifts during my human and alien life. I went on a Skype call with my son as I wanted to see him again. I've talked to my ex-girlfriend Elle through Skype as well as she couldn't understand all this alien stuff (yes... i told her but she was afraid to die so we broke up for her safety). She still hopes for my safety and is still concern about my well-being but if she has less connections with my life, the safer she'll be (some gentleman hu?).

I was getting tired and I went to sleep and in my dreams are just scenarios where I was with Dom. It's not like I have feelings for him or anything but he's the only person I really need right now. I then got out my phone and as I was about to call him, I hear yelling through the hotel room walls. I listened through them and it's an argument between Dom and his partner through... I guess a phone call but it also sounds like Skype. I got my special stethoscope that can help listen through walls.

"Listen... we're just on tour ok... no big deal!" Dom said.

Then there's a faint sound involving about being there for each other and so on and Dom keeps on trying to let the guy understand. In the end, Dom ended up being pissed. That's when he threw his phone to the wall and hit the part where I was listening through. It was loud but I've been through many explosions to get used to it.

As I returned to my Tardis to pack up and heard my room door open. It was Dom.

"Hey Matt... um... Can your box fit one more person?" Dom asked in a sad tone.

I looked at him and he seemed upset. I guess nothing bad could happen if you bring a friend with you. So I gave way and he entered the Tardis. He then just sat down and I closed the door and walked to the main console.

"So, where do you want to go?" I asked.

"Anywhere but here... as long I wont end up dead" Dom said.
