Chapter 12: The Small Print (Part 1)

(This Chapter will consist of Dom's POV)

I've been traveling with Matt for nearly 2 months now and I've seen things that you wouldn't imagine. Supernovas, galaxies, aliens and creatures beyond our understanding... it's magnificent. Sure, there were times we caught ourselves in danger but that's nothing compared to the time that Matt and I have together. But even if Matt loves me back, it just feels different. Like it's what I wanted but not exactly how I wanted it to be. Maybe it's because Matt's an alien and I'm just a human.

My theory, Matt is only keeping me as a reminder of his past life and I understand if that is the case but whenever I bring it up, he would immediately change the topic or just ignore it. Maybe it's too much for him to answer. Sometimes he would respond saying something like 'are you not appreciating what we have?'.

There are times we have Chris traveling with us, we once travelled to a dystopian planet filled with giant teddy bears that attack us, a planet where time goes slowerthan earth  by 10 years so technically, I'm now 10 years older than my original age and other interesting places. We do go back to our normal time where we perform our gigs as usual and it's like Matt is able to press play and pause between his alien and human side. Whenever we're performing, Matt acts like who he was before this whole alien thing, flamboyant and talented. And when we're traveling, he's serious and active. Sometimes, he would have both sides mixed up just for fun and the only one who gets mad about Matt acting different is Tom.

Now, we're in the Tardis and the whole gang is with us. Chris, Matt and I, traveling together for the first time since  we finished touring while Tom stays behind to keep things in check. It was Matt's idea of course. We watched as Chris had to say goodbye to Kelly like it was his last before entering the Tardis since anything can happen when traveling with an alien. She cried when Chris entered the time machine. Once everyone brought in all their bags and were ready, Matt closed the door.

"Ok, no more tours, just the 3 of us for now! Where do you want to go?" Matt asked.

"Can we go somewhere... safe?" Chris asked. "Like back in time in our planet?"

"Dude, even traveling back in time will kill us!" I said.

"Come on, we have so many planets we can go to, many worlds to see!" Matt said as he ran around the main console. "Endless possibilities and all you want is to see if your teachers and textbooks were correct?"

"Ok Matt, where do you want to take us?" Chris asked.

"Well... I'm not sure if you will like it but there is this one place where I want to try going but I want all of you guys with me" Matt said.

Matt typed up the coordinates and there, we saw a planet. A planet that we don't recognise but Matt, he kinda knew.

"This is Gallefrey... before the Time War" Matt said. "Before my family had to travel away, this is where they lived".

"But isn't that planet... gone?" I asked.

"Dom... are you forgetting, this is a time machine! We can go back in time!" Matt declared.

Matt went to the main console and set the coordinates. As he pulled the lever, the wheezing sound came and the Tardis shook. But as we were traveling, there was some conflict between the Tardis and our destination path (I think... it was really bumpy and rough). Matt tried to do whatever it takes to get to it but the Tardis was just arguing with Matt.

"Bellamy, what's going on?!" Chris asked.

"It's the Tardis, it wont let me through!" Matt said.
