Why Dan?

Phil was heated, he had enough of Dan's coldness.
Dab caught up to him and grabbed him.
"What's your problem?" Dan asked.
"I'm done with you and your bullshit!" Yelled Phil.
Dan let him go and Phil pulled out his phone and called Chris to come get him.
In 15 minutes Chris pulled up and Phil walked off from the sidewalk they once stood on.Dan stood there with a blank expression just not aware of what just happened.He took his coffee and went home.
"Thanks Chris for letting me crash here." Phil said.
Chris nodded and Phil went on
"I can't believe him! I wanted to hold his hand and he just pulled away like I'm some dirty bum! I mean people are accepting of gay relationships so I don't see his deal... it shouldn't matter and he's being an ass so I'll leave him alone I guess."
Phil was choking up with tears as he spoke. Chris just handed him a tissue to wipe his face.
"He'll learn sooner or later". Chris replied.
It was silent before Chris said
"I'm here and that's better than Dan."
Phil chuckled and Chris reached over and kissed him. It was about 30 seconds before Phil spoke again.
"I-I.. you shouldn't do this!" Phil yelled.
Chris got up and left out the room leaving, Phil there to sit and think about the events that just happened.
