Sensei Wu's POV
"The ninja have been gone quite a long time. I hope nothing's happened to them," Lloyd sighed.
"I agree, my son. But it's for a good reason. They are infiltrating the Overlord's base and rescuing Zane," my brother assured.
"I am reading Zane's life signal, but it is faint. The group is close by, however," Pixal added. At that moment, Kai and Jay burst in, both standing in the doorway. They look extremely upset.
"Where are Cole and Zane?" I asked nervously. They look back and step to the side, allowing Cole to walk in, carrying Zane in his arms. He, too, seems unhappy.
"Thank goodness you're safe," Nya exclaimed, rushing to hug her brother. Kai hung back, his eyes watering.
"Is something wrong?" Lloyd asks. Jay steps forward and hesitates before answering.
"We were stopped by General Cryptor while in the process of saving Zane. Before Kai killed him, he told us Zane was dying quickly."
"Nya, call Cyrus Borg. Ask him to ready his machines," I instructed.
"Yes, Sensei!" she replied, dialing Borg's number.
