Chapter thirty three: I am sorry

While their walk, they met a group of school, Lia and Rayna didn't like them. They tried to cover their faces so they don't notice them but suddenly they called Joe's name so they stopped. Lia looked at Rayna hopelessly.

"Joe! Wow. You are walking with Rayna and Lia?" A silly girl said

"Yes, what is wrong?" Joe replied coldly

"Hah, you dated Lia? You changed your girl that quick?" A guy said

Joe's face became red, he cleared his throat then looked at Lia..

"Changed his girl? What does that mean?" Lia crosses her arms

The same silly girl laughed scoffing at her "You didn't know? Your love cheated on you honey with another girl a week ago."

Lia cleared her throat, she wanted to cry not because Joe cheated on her but because this girl is teasing her and scoffing.

"Is that right Joe?" Lia said with glassy eyes

Rayna was looking at Lia wanting to calm her by any way. Rayna was more worried.

"I-I am sorry Lia."

"Sorry? So you did that?" Lia said eyeing him then she left him

"Lia, wait." Joe tried to stop her but she pulled herself away forcefully

Rayna looked at him in shame then followed Lia.

The silly girl laughed and Joe became so nervous.

"Shut up bitches." Joe shouted at them very loudly so they left

Rayna followed Lia;

"Don't be upset." Rayna said stopping to sit on a bench

"I am not upset Rayna." Lia sighed and tears fell on her cheeks

"How and you are crying?"

"Believe I didn't love him but I-I don't know why I felt hurt as those jerks are laughing at me."

"Maybe they are lying."

"I thought that at first but he didn't deny."

"You love him Lia."

"I don't love him."

"You do."

"Rayna, it's all about hurting me and feeling I was just imagining. I thought he loved me and that's all. I am upset because he lied to me."

"Not that's all. You are crying because you love him but you didn't give him a chance to defend himself."

"No need." Lia sobbed

Joe reached them

"Lia, please listen to me first I know that you don't want to see my face but please I beg you." Joe said

"Leave me." Lia shouted

"Please Lia listen to him." Rayna said

"I will explain things to you." Joe said shaking, he was so worried that was nearly to fell down
"I-I lo-love you." Joe said and felt unconscious

"What?" Lia exclaimed
"Please Rayna help me." Lia put her hand on his head. She quickly grabbed a perfume from her bag and made him smell it

"He is not responding Lia." Rayna said worriedly

"Call the hospital." Lia said rubbing his face

"Okay. Okay." Rayna hurried up

The ambulance came and took Joe. Lia and Rayna went with him.
