Different, But Best Friends!

Chapter nine: Near

Rayna decided to visit her mom after she has her launch with her brothers. Her dad never eats with them as he knows they hate him and can't forgive him. Rayna is the one who make the breakfast and launch. Jak and Brixton prepare the dinner.

"Hi" Rayna said when she opened the flat door back from school.

"Hi Rayna. Watch out what dad is doing!! He's about to get ready to steal the bank these days. I didn't hear when exactly but it's soon." Brixton

"What?!" Rayna ran to the living room where her dad and his friends were putting the last touches to their plans but the door was closed.
She put her ears near the closed door in order to hear anything.

"So, we will rob the mall at 9:30 okay?" She heard her dad saying that

"Okay. So it will be 24 August, 9:30 morning in Blaza mall" Someone said

Rayna ran to her room to write the date and time which she heard by some of his friends and then she took her mobile phone to call her brother Jak and tell him what's happening.

"Jak, look Dad already decided the date and time they will begin to steal the mall." Rayna said

"Write them" Jak ordered

"I did, what should we do? By the way I told Lia and she agreed but she's busy this weekend! He said they will rob the mall 24 August! Oh when is 24 August?" Rayna said

Jak quickly opened his calendar.

"Next Thursday, It's next Thursday Rayna" Jak said

"Oh my God. But I think we have time right?" Rayna said

"Yes, don't worry" Jak said

Rayna took her brother Brixton to visit her mother. Sozana was so happy when she saw her son and daughter. Rayna didn't tell her anything about their plan. Her grandma and grandpa were so happy too. They waited till 11 p.m.

"Hey" Lia answered when she found a strange number calling her

"Hi Lia. I'm Joe" Joe replied

"Joe? How're you?" Lia said

"Fine and you? I just wanted to talk with you for awhile but please don't end the call like the previous one" Joe said

"Oh of course, I am sorry anyway" Lia said

"Are you going to school tomorrow?" Joe asked

"I am. What about you?" Lia asked

"Yes" Joe said

"Can I ask you a question if you won't mind?" Lia asked

"Sure" Joe said

"How did you know my phone number?" Lia asked

"Maria you know her? You gave it to me after insisted" Joe said

"Maria? Oh I remember" Lia said. Lia was burning inside. She remembered when she gave her number to Maria. She realized now that Maria wanted her number in order to give it to Joe

"Great" Joe said

"Oh yes" Lia said

"Did you finish your Biology homework?" Lia asked
