Liam's POV

Nothing could get me out of there faster. i thanked not so lucky stars that Zayn had left the door open when he came in. Now normally i would here the rest of their conversation from my bedroom, but now i can't take this anymore... this is mad.

I kept walking, farther and farther away from them, Abigail, and everything else. By the time i got my feet to stop walking i was in an abandoned park a few blocks from the hotel. During the day this park would be full of children, happiness and life. But at night its empty and dark. just like my life.. all cool for the cameras, but thats it...

      Abigail and Liam.

Have you ever been in a place where everything that happens just seems to hurt you. Even when you ave no idea why. Everything from your past will come back and haunt you one day, whether its your choice or not.

Abigail's POV

I walked to my favorite park, one i used to always come to when i was little, a place where i thought nothing could go wrong... But it was also the park i first saw the bullying.            I slipped under the slide, just sitting getting lost in space. It didn't last long in my mind before a figure passed my sight. I had to squint my eyes against the darkness. i sighed spotting the buzz cut, i'd know that hair.

"Liam." The word escaped my lips before i could stop them. He didn't notice me at first but at the sound of his name he turned. At that moment i cursed my glowing green eyes, for he spotted me almost instantly.

"A-Abbey?" he questioned

I pulled myself out from under the slide.

What are you doing, run!

My legs disobeyed, though forcing my body towards the chocolate eyed boy.   He instantly put his hand over his eyes when i approached. I looked down.

"So.. I guess we need to talk now..." I suggest quietly.

I pulled him onto one of the small swings.

"Do you remember this place?" I asked

"Wha...."  Liam paused for a minute trying to figure out where we were.

"Did you just block out your past?" I bit my tongue from continuing.

"No... i remember you and Char."

"This is where we grew up, right outside of school." i ignored the Charlotte part..

"Oh... well i didn't come here for a history lesson. i wanna know what's going on. What does everyone else know but me?"

"You- we didn't meet here purposely..." i muttered.

"ABBEY! Do you think i did't notice that Zayn started to ignore me, or give me sad looks whenever Char was around! Whats going on!" He cried "Please, just tell me..."

"The whole story... started here."

"I was 7th grade, when i was walking home one day, i was late because of detention, for doing God-knows-what. But anyway i happened to walk by your school. You acted o much like i was some naive little girl." I pushed the dirt around with my feet. I felt his stare on the side of my face as i spoke. "You acted like i wouldn't notice that Charlotte wouldn't hang out with us anymore, like i wouldn't notice she didn't talk to anyone anymore. So i noticed a bunch of people standing around, and immediately spotted your curly mess in the middle of it." I stopped taking in a rugged breathe. His stare had intensified, begging me to continue. "I saw it Liam, I saw all of it." I watched as a tear splashed against the soft dirt below my feet. Liam remained quiet. I looked over at him, his head was facing the ground.

With a deep, shaky breathe i continued the story. "Char, came home a few hours later... she went straight up stairs, and that was it. the last time anyone would see her alive." I spoke slowly praying he would say something.

"Char-Char's de-dead..." He tried to wrap his brain around the idea. "But how..."

That last part was to himself, and i should have left it alone, i should have just left period! But of course that's not who i a, i'm a stupid person who does everything wrong.

"What do you mean how! YOU DID IT!" I exclaimed.

"I didn't mean too." Liam's voiced stayed low.

"You didn't mean to, but you did." My voice was harsh and raspy as tears fought to pour out. He just looked down. I was now standing in front of my swing facing him. Why did you do it? and why only her? why not me?

now i didn't ask those questions, but i wish i did maybe then it would have change the outcome, maybe there would be a happy ending to this story. Anything would be better than whats going on right now... I'll just tell you one thing, Liam never did answer my question.
