Always Waiting

What just happened....

Louis PoV (before Abigail/Liam fight)

I laughed silently as Harry continually stole food from Niall's plate. Niall glared at him and tried unsuccessfully to protect his food from the thief.

"That was my last CHIP!" Niall yelled suddenly when Harry shoved the apparently last chip into his mouth. Next thing I know Niall tackled Harry to the ground, so I did what any rational person would do, I jump on top of them yelling

"SUPERMAN!!!"

A knock sound from the door, but we ignored it and I continued to try to push the two boys off me, somehow I managed to be on the bottom of the pile...

"Mates!" Liam said walking past us towards the door, "Act your own age." we all sighed jumping up and sitting at different places on the couch. Liam opened the door and his body suddenly went stiff.

"What do you want?" Whoever was at the door made his voice go cold.

"Is Zayn there?." Charlotte's voice sounded. Liam was mad at Charlotte? That makes no sense! I leaned over a little to get a better view, that wasn't Charlotte though, that was her sister, A-Alley? No.... Thats not it...

"No" Liam's voice came out sharp.

"Why are you lying?" A... Abbey? Asked. How'd she know Liam was lying...

ABIGAIL! That's her name.

"I'm not lying" Liam defended, "Why do you need to see Zayn anyway?"

"You crack your fingers when you lie." Abigail stated. He does? Hmm... This could be useful.

"I DO NOT!" Liam was getting angrier by the second. I stood up and walked over to him.

"What are you doing" Harry whispered "Don't interfear!" I just waved my hand at him.

"You do and I just need to speak to him." Abigail stated refering to Zayn. I could practically see the steam coming out of his ears.

"Chill out mate." I said slowly placing my hand gently on his back, hoping he'd calm down. No such luck.... But the next thing that happened was farthest from my thoughts...

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" Liam yelled. I immediately jumped backwards, frightened. I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"You alright mate?" Harry led me back to the couch.

"Bloody hell..." I muttered sitting back down. My body still shaking slightly, I've never seen Liam so angry....

"Wasss going on?" Zayn asked finally coming out of his room.

"Yea keep telling yourself that." Abigail struggled to keep her voice down. "Zayn can I talk to you for a second?" Zayn looked back and forth between Liam and Abigail. Meanwhile I was still shaking slightly, "Please?" Abigail begged. Zayn nodded and soon they were both gone.

We all looked over at Liam who was still steaming mad. But before we could even say anything Liam stormed out and soon a slam echoed through the room.

"Are you okay Lou?" Niall asked After a minute.

"Y-yea.. Just confused now..." I replied but my voice didn't sound so sure. Silence fell over us for a second before Abigail Came out and went straight for the door.

"I'm sorry guys." She paused at the door. "For everything." What was she talking about? What happened a few minutes ago? That doesn't make any sense.... "Just forget you ever met me..." And that makes even less sense... We barely know her....

"Wh-what about Charlotte" Zayn asked before Abigail could leave. "She was our friend." There was a bitter taste in his voice. I looked back at Abigail waiting for her response.

"You never met Char..." she spoke quietly. "I was Char.." and with that she closed the door and left. The tension was thick enough to be cut with a knife.

Abigail was Charlotte, there is no Charlotte? Was there? Have no idea.. What so...

"What just happened?" I asked more to myself.

"So Charlotte's not real... But Liam knew her?" Harry asked a second later. Next thing we knew Zayn was walking out the door.

"What is going!" Niall said quite loudly.

"We're obviously missing something...." I said slowly.

"So Abigail is Charlotte who doesn't exist but Liam apparently knew and Liam doesn't know yet is cold towards Abigail who Zayn Knows and apparently we do too."

"Yea... We're missing more than just something..." Harry spoke.
