"Come on doc, you've got to have some news!"

"Alright, alright. Just settle down." I signed and sat down, running my hand through my hair. "He's absolutely fine now. We've managed to get all the poison out but he is resting right now. You can see him, but he will be asleep."

"Oh my Goddess. Thank you!" I jumped up and though my arms around the doctor. He nervously chuckled and I heard a growl. Soon enough, I was pulled away from the doctor. My back was against a hard chest, it was obviously Caleb.

"Mine." I heard him mutter. He nuzzled his head between my neck. "Mine." He repeated again. I giggled and turned around, wrapping my arms around him and kissing his cheek.

"You should know I'm all yours."

"I don't like other guys touching you."

"He's like, well, old." I whispered. He chuckled and kissed my nose.

"Yeah, he is.. Now come on, let's go see Raph." The doctor led us to Raphael's room and he was sleeping peacefully.

"He looks peaceful...and pale."

"It was all in his blood. We had to drain him from his blood but someone donated their blood."

"Someone? Who?" I asked. Was it Caleb?

"Your father. Right before he had to go for some reason. We'd asked after you left. We got some from your dad then he seemed to have gotten some mind link, so he left. But, we got all we needed. Oh, and don't worry. Your dad was a match, and he will be fine." I wasn't worried whether or not my dad would be fine, I knew he would anyway.

"Thank you for everything, doc." Caleb says, smiling.

"You're welcome. Just doing my job, really. Oh, and because Chloe is soon to be Alpha Female. My loyalties lie with her family."

After a few hours, we were allowed to take Raph home. He was still recovering, and quite tired. "I'll go put him to bed." I say. I go up to one of our many guest rooms and place him in the bed. "Sweet dreams." I kiss his forehead.

"I love you." He mumbles.

"I love you too." I smile and leave the room. Man, that warmed my heart. When I got downstairs, everyone was sitting like we were having a meeting.

"Sit down, baby girl." I sit beside Caleb and he takes my hand. "So, I think you all should know that Seth has now shifted." Mum and Caleb gasped.

"My baby has shifted?! How?" Mum asked, clearly shocked and surprised. She had a smile on her face, so I knew she was also very happy. So am I..

"We don't know. We figured the werewolf genes just overpowered the human genes and bam, he shifted."

Before anyone spoke, I spoke up. "That means Seth can be Alpha now, right?" I could tell everyone was shocked with my question. They knew how much I wanted it but now, things have changed now..

"Chl-"

"No, I was only going to be Alpha Female because I was the only werewolf child. Now, Seth is a werewolf which means he can be the Alpha."

"Chloe, you can't just give it up. You've had so much training and I've had none! You are destined to be Alpha Female."

"Like I said, I was only doing this because I was the only werewolf child of this family.. But Seth, now you are. I want to go back with Caleb, be his Luna."

Dad growled and stood up, glaring at Caleb. "Did you put her up to this? Huh? Did you you?!"

"He didn't, dad! It's all me, I want to be with him.. If I was to be Alpha Female here, then we can't be together."

"Can't he-"

"He's the only one that can be Alpha. He's got no cousins and their family are not willing to give the Alpha title to a pack member. Look, this way..the Alpha title will stay in our family."

"You are family."

"If Caleb and I are to marry, I'm taking his last name. The Alpha title will still be Johnson if Seth takes it."

Dad signed and looked between Seth and I. Seth just looked baffled and Caleb was a mix between happiness and distraught. "No." Dad said.

"No? What do you mean, no?"

"I mean, you are to be Alpha Female whether you like it or not."

"Elliot, let the girl have some choice. You know that if they were both werewolves and shifted together that you would've made Seth Alpha no matter what. Now you can, and Chloe is fine with it. You've got to let her have some choice now. She's a young woman and can make her own decisions."

"She's still my baby girl, and she's not eighteen yet."

"Elliot, it's her choice. She wants to be with her mate. Don't you want her to be happy? If you make her stay, she will be away from Caleb and therefore will result in her either running away or bringing this pack down as she is not by her mate's side."

"Emily-"

"No. I may still be a bit hazy on the whole werewolf concept but I sure as hell know what happens when you're apart from your mate. I also know that I want what is best for our kids, and their happiness is what is best for them." Dad looked like he was in conflict. "And besides, what if he comes to attack her while she's separated in a different pack from Caleb? She'll be weak and won't fight back. Do you want that to happen to her?"

"No.." Dad looked like he was a kid getting told off.. Aw!

"See, you've got to put her needs before yours."

"I-"

"No you're not. She may have wanted to be Alpha Female before but now, she doesn't want to. Seth, he's available to. You just have to train him. He can take over as Alpha when Chloe was to, and you can continue to train him while he's Alpha. Simple. I mean, that is if you want this, Seth?" Seth smiles at mum.

"Of course, I mean I was gutted when I knew I was never going to be Alpha.. I admit, I was jealous. But now, I can be Alpha.. This is great.."

"I have to train you up first. Teach you the ins and outs of it all. It won't be easy, son."

"I'm willing to work hard.."

"Good." Dad sighed and looked at me. "You..you can go be with Caleb. No grandkids though!"

"Elliot!" Mum gasped, smacking his chest. "I want grandchildren." She whispered.

"I meant not now or anytime soon!"

"Good. Now run along you three. I'm sure you all must be tired." We all started walking up the stairs when mum stopped Caleb and I. "No sex."

"Muuum!" I whined. "We weren't going to!"

"Don't think I haven't seen that mark on you. I know what happens next." I groaned and pulled Caleb upstairs to my old room.

"I remember this room."

"Well duh, you came in without permission."

"Good times, sweetheart, good times." I rolled my eyes and stripped, changing into my pyjamas. Caleb stripped down to his boxers and was already in my bed. "Come on then, this is my favourite part of the day."

"Why?"

"I get to cuddle up with you." I blush.

"We need to brush our teeth.."

"Nonsense. We can skip one night."

"Um, alright." I get into bed and cuddle up with him. I love how he made me feel safe..

"Goodnight, sweetheart."

"Goodnight."
