It'd been a long day. I was busy being run off my feet. I'd trained some of the pack and then I had a one on one training session with Raphael. I know he's been able to take care of himself on his own, but I wanted to be triple sure he definitely could. So, I too, it upon myself to train him.

Caleb had been busy with paperwork, him being Alpha and all. It's been about six months now since I joined Caleb's pack..which is now my pack too. Caleb was also officially announced as Alpha six months back, as his dad had stepped down and given Caleb the position. Which then led to my ceremony of becoming this pack's official Luna which was such a beautiful ceremony. Then, Caleb and I mated..which was heavenly. He made it so special, which I adored. He's a total sweetheart, which is ironic since that's his pet name for me.

Among all the training I did today, I also cooked a huge meal for the pack. I felt like I should make sure everyone has food. Plus, it's a good thing my mum had taught me to cook. As well as cooking for the pack, I decided it'd be a great idea to cook for my mum and dad and my little brother, Logan. Mum had been rushed off her feet since Logan was born. Caleb and I had gone over a few times and seem my little baby brother. He was born premature, and almost died. But he's a little miracle baby.

I then got Paul, a pack member of ours - Caleb and I - to deliver the food to my mum since I had more duties to fulfil. I cleaned around the pack house too, because I wasn't a fan of dirty places. Thankfully, Raphael helped me too along with a few other pack members.

Now, here I lay on my bed all tired out. All I wanted to do tonight was crawl into bed with Caleb and sleep for hours.

"Sweetheart, you okay? You look a little worn out?"

I made a grunt sort of sound and sat up, staring at my handsome mate who just happened to be in the middle of stripping. Aren't I lucky? He started dressing up though..into something much smarter. "What're doing? Thought you were finished for the day."

"Oh, I am." I stared at him, dumbfounded. "Come on, we're going out."

"We are? Oh please Caleb, can we just stay home? I'm so knackered and my feet hurt, I just want to stay home." His eyes lit up, and I noticed he was then mind linking someone. I wonder who..

"Of course, sweetheart. Anything for you." Gosh, I really have the best mate ever. He started undressing again and dressed in some shorts and a tank top. He jumped on the bed, on top of me.

"Caleb you ass, get off of me!" I huffed out. He sure weighed a lot. I focus on trying to push him off me, which doesn't work. I fail. Miserably. Instead, I end up pushing myself from under him and onto the floor. What great luck I have.

"Shit, baby, you okay?"

"Yep, yep. I'm good! I'll be back," I say, getting off of my butt, "just gotta brush my teeth." I quickly go and brush my teeth and head back into the bedroom. I get out my pyjamas and get dressed. I turn around and notice Caleb staring out the window. "What is it, Caleb?" No answer. "Caleb? Is something out there?" He still doesn't answer, so I walk up to the window to see for myself what's got him so silent, and what has his attention. I look out the window and I swear my heart stopped.

Marry me, Chloe?

I turn to face Caleb and he was already down on one knee holding open a little box with a ring. "Sure, it's only been about eight months or so that we've actually been together.. But, I love you and you love me and we're mates. We're destined for each other. We're in love.. We already have a little family. Raphael already started calling us mum and dad months ago.. Since I saw you that day in the meeting, I wanted to just be with you forever. Trust me when I say that it broke my heart hearing you tell me you didn't want to come back with me, and that your duties lied with you pack. I wanted to do anything and everything to get you to change your mind, but eventually you didn't really. So I just let you do what you wanted but I guess throughout our time together, you changed your mind and I'm so glad you did. I don't know what I'd do without you. I was so scared that day you got kidnapped. I was scared I was going to lose my soul mate, my other half. I was absolutely terrified. It was the best thing ever when I got you back. I swore to myself I'd never let you go.. So, getting one step closer to that.. Will you marry me?"
